Btw, tested a bit this morning. DTS demo disc. 'Hero - Blue Room' and 'Master & Commander'. At -30dB, the sheer subsonic power can literally shake my head. That's a vast improvement after the YPAO and SPL meter calibration. Later, (if free) I shall test BD again. Oh yes, I stuffed a port block and the set it to run at 16Hz

BTW guys, i'm newbie here. need opinion from all sifus. Planning to let go of my svs pa10nsd to make way for the pc12+.Any suggestions abt the price? Item used abt 2 yrs.

It is about USD1,299 (door to door, depending location) + 15% import tax + 10% sales tax. At current ex-rate, it is about RM5.8K.

RM5.8k for PB10-NSD??? Seems too much for the entry level SVS thot PB12-NSD would be RM3k to RM4k Or u meant ur PC12?

Did you make use of the single band Parametric Equalizer for room response calibration? I wonder if I did it correctly on my 20-39PC+ with the response cuve below.

The PEQ seems not able to fatten the curve total due to more than 1 peak occured. Not sure if an AVR with Audyssey MultEQ XT able to help on this??

The blue is before and purple is after adjusting the PEQ.

Still out of optimum adjustment. Best if you can control it +- 3db. You might need to do bass trap or move your sub around to get the smoothest response first before doing adjustment. The 31.5 hz is a typical room modal peak which can only be tame by bass trap.

Yes, it did. Buy QED SR-SW from futureshop lah. It will sounds cleaner and taut.
