QUOTE(geforce1999 @ May 21 2009, 03:52 PM) Finally got reply from SVS and the quote as below: PB12-Plus to Singapore Door to door $520 Door to airport $330 PB12-Plus to Malaysia Door to door $565 Door to airport $375 Much higher than what quote to htkaki... guess is because I'm staying in Johor If going for MO, why not ask for normal shipping by container which is much cheaper than by air. maybe 10 subs equals about 1/2 a container.

my Harmony also works flawlessly with my velo setup from Logitech's database. If yours not working, most likely the velo's remote function is broken-that's why sold cheaply?

If that's the case, I will call that guy in SVS and tell them to ship asap as I want it to be here before Sat (bloody bad for poisoning people) The bolsters will be in by mid next week UPS is handling it I think all the regulars are just as excited as you to see, touch and listen to your svs. Can invite us all to audition?

interesting savings but to collect 20 orders might be difficult considering the large sums needed.
Btw, how long will sea freight take to arrive?

QUOTE(elmer @ Jun 10 2009, 06:12 PM) Hey guys, Got this from xtremeplace forum http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=64111.0Looks like SVS is coming to Singapore. Won't it be cheaper to get it from there?? hopefully, the SG dealership doesn't cover MY coz then we might not be able to buy direct. Would it be correct to expect prices to be much higher buying thru local dealer?

QUOTE(HornyAngMoh @ Jul 21 2009, 11:49 AM) Me too have problem with vibration. The problem is not me vibrating ( by right it should be me who vibrate ) but my ceiling & even my roofing. when i upgrade to pb12nsd, no more ceiling vibrate. But i have to add that i put in extra bass traps as well and it helped a lot.

QUOTE(pierreye @ Jul 21 2009, 03:01 PM) What I do is ask the contractor to use the thicker frame and use rubbermat for each joint ot reduce metal vibration. Also put the rockwool on top of the plaster ceiling to act as broadband sound trap. rockwool in ceiling works? I'm thinking to do this next. I already covered most of my walls.

QUOTE(jchong @ Jul 23 2009, 02:09 PM) I cut the front speakers at 40 Hz.My test tones are mp3 files. I played through the PS3, which is connected to AVR via HDMI. If I play the test tone I think it will be output via all speakers. So to test the sub, I unplugged all the other speakers. I did also test just the front speakers only (the rest unplugged) but haven't charted it yet. Isn't that the reason for the roll-off at 50Hz for your sub? I set my 805 at 100Hz for front speakers. Btw, the LPE setting you referered to earlier is meant for the .1 channel only.

Yes, the front speakers don't receive below 40Hz and instead it goes to the sub i.e. 0-40Hz goes to the sub
Your're playing an mp3 which does not have the .1 channel so there's nothing for the sub to play.
So, you're measuring only 0-40Hz for the sub which got cut from the front speakers.
