Hi Vyraz,
Hei my Black Tube has the same light leakage as the pic above. is it normal? thanks

I think it is pretty normal, especially for the first batch. Anyway, it wont affect your tube performance smile.gif

I will be getting a tube for myself soon, does the problem only affect the first batch or even the current model suffer from the light leakage?

hi, was looking this up as well.. found a program that was recommended by afew forums called best blacklist...by smartphoneware.. but its a chargable application.. u gotta pay for it.

apparently, call barring is now a sim action (i presume)

ho-ll = if u have to tilt the phone very far to see the leakage i guess its ok la... but if ur looking at it flat on and theres light leaking.. thats serious leakage

*** additional stuff i found while surfing..

the maps are free. The software isnt. Its only free for external gps.

MSM use unlock code to protect their maps because they do not want to share it freely. The password is always at where u download the thread.

Yeap... you got it 100% right. A-GPS & I-GPS is the safe combo. Network based is a no no.

I've been using the tube for about 3 months now. The few cents from A-GPS charges maximum accumulates to only about RM2 or so. I have never had like crazy data charges in my bill. Anyway you know our tube can keep track of data charges right? Its in your log? And your log refreshes every 30 days so you basically know how much data you use.

My 3G/Data charges is around 1.2MB where it cost me RM12. Its A-GPS + Integrated GPS still cost so much.
I think when signal low then the A-GPS will try connecting again and again..

I did try on A-GPS + Integrated GPS to get signal then disable the A-GPS, and it works only for Open space,
with less building around you.(All those NKVE, LDP Highway is the best to get signal)

How often you used Garmin?
which Service Provider you using? Celcom or Maxis?
Mine is Maxis.
