Guys,

I need some quick help here. I have done all the steps until Step 15 where it says: "Step 15 - Go to Applications >Garmin Mobile XT >Settings >System >Remote GPS >Select ‘Use Attached/Built-in GPS’ >Enable and it’s all done."

When I select Remote GPS, I couldnt see any ‘Use Attached/Built-in GPS’. It only shows "Connection allowed to Garmin GPS devices only" together with a big box states "Pair New GPS". Anyone knows what to do?

Btw, when we start up the Garmin XT, do we select "Connect to a Garmin GPS" or other options? Please advise guys~

Once it got the lock, it uses integrated GPS. What A-GPS does is just to determine where you are. Once it knows where you are, it uses the integrated GPS to follow you.

Correct me if Im wrong, if I enable both A-GPS and I-GPS, it will be faster than just I-GPS without scary charges like Network Based as it only charge 10cents per connection?

So it is recommended to turn on both A-GPS and I-GPS, regardless whether I'm rushing or not?

Yeap... you got it 100% right. A-GPS & I-GPS is the safe combo. Network based is a no no.

I've been using the tube for about 3 months now. The few cents from A-GPS charges maximum accumulates to only about RM2 or so. I have never had like crazy data charges in my bill. Anyway you know our tube can keep track of data charges right? Its in your log? And your log refreshes every 30 days so you basically know how much data you use.
*
Hmm.. icic.. Guess I will switch to this combo coz not really a big fan of waiting for such a long time. Thanks mate! You are the king!! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

I think it is pretty normal, especially for the first batch. Anyway, it wont affect your tube performance smile.gif

I'm currently using the rubberised case bought from workflow. So far I'm very satisfied with the case and I think it makes my tube looks even cooler! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

after using other web browsers like Opera Mini and Morange, you will see the default browser that comes with the phone is the best browser. nod.gif
*
Ya, I agree with that also. Opera Mini isnt as friendly user as the default browser..
