do i need a device unlock code to use free map? how to get unlock code? need help...noob in gps

so what i have to do for step 8 in the instruction? i must get the unlock code to use the free map also? so i just skip the step "Copy the SW.UNL file" and straight copy the map can already?

i cannot use it and it tell me to open bluetooth and detect for external GPS device...how to use the internal one?
