i just tried out the tv-out but wat i got was in black n white.
i tried changing the settings to PAL and NTSC, restarting phone after changing, taking out memory card, but it's still in black n white.
any1 can help?

i asked for a black tube with the silver lining. he tot oni got red n blue.
then i couldnt see the xtra stylus, he sed there isnt any =.=
when i got home, the extra stylus is actually hidden somewhere in d box.

Q2: settings > personal > home screen > shortcuts
u can choose "menu" as a shortcut in d main screen

but ofcoz b4 that u havta choose to display shortcuts in d main screen:
settings > personal > themes > home screen theme > shortcuts bar

hey guys, i oso hav a question of my own
while using garmin on d phone, i tried finding location by address
it showed "none found" although the street name is clearly seen on d map, and the street name is oso available in "nearest location"
i used gps n agps, and d satellite signal is green, pretty good
i oso using shorter names to find eg: jalan jejaka 5, i just serch for "jejaka"
searches on locations worked perfectly on some while some cant...
using MFMv158
any1 can help?

erm. the phone itself cant. coz oni can choose either contacts, shortcuts, or basic
but other xtra application MAY be able to...i dont noe

erm...mine is garmin simulation stopped while simulating route half way... not the phone itself hang though...never hang b4

i emailed nokia through their website abt the camera shutter sound, this is their reply:

"I regret to advise that the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music do not have the option to switch off the shutter sound of the camera. Due to privacy and security regulations that has been enforced in many countries, all Nokia phones currently do not have the option to switch off the sound of the camera shutter."

newer batches of d phone do not have the earpiece problem anymore

original phones DO come in black-silver, not limited to AP...
but seems they r in higher demand compared to red or blue...
so u may nid to wait a bit to get a black one...ask ur seller
