my ps3 just YLOD again after back 1 week from repair.........look like can't really tahan long.....thought of getting a slim for backup and send the phat 1 to repair again since still under warranty

i oso experiencing da same probs in da past week...WTF some game can't be booted it juz blank screen & need to force shutdown...i'm strongly assume these is gotta do with da FIRMWARE & NETWORK ERROR...

3.01, is it relates to the situation i'm facing? the other games demo(ie: wining eleven) no problem at all...

did some research, Fw 3.01 have problem with fifa10...and also according to lots of forum...fifa series do have freeze issue...
hopefully it is just the demo problem, not my ps3, i have no money to send it back hong kong to claim warranty...*praying*

Hadoi. My ps3 fat Nov 07 model died on me last night. Just like that, no warning signs whatsoever. I don't think i've overplayed it as well. Since started working i can only play 2 hours a day at most. Called up Bernard, said would take rm250 and a month to fix. One thing, i've always put my set vertically, meaning the hot air vents facing upwards. Is it possible that dust could fall into the vents, accumulate and causing the thing to overheat also? Sedih gila wey. Really considering a new slim ps3, cannot tahan

I already searched the thread but did not find any working links about it.

If you have experienced with doing the repair, please let me know if the repair work was good (e.g. didn't break down again after 1 week)

I placed ny PS3 phat vertically in air-cond room. Always shut down only when fan slows down. Also kena YLOD

Bought it 31/3/2008 died in 15/10/2009. Sg 40gb set.

Now got PS3 slim but my Warhawk mappack hapis, COD5 mappack hapis.
