it could be power supply problem... or maybe overheating...

then tried to on back the ps3, yellow light then red light blinking... |

i dont think the latest FW causes YLOD... leading to paranoia
some lucky and some don't with ylod fix, its only temporary solution. ylod is just general error in hardware (usually overheating that leads to components fail - MB, GPU, CPU, hdd etc)... same as PC, when a hardware/component malfunction, the PC wont boot and beep sound...
