hahaha .. well true also XD anyway, already used for 1st day. so far so good, and having alot things to learn.. was learn how to sync music from my pc.. but then i tried sync my photo from pc to iphone but it can't work, izzit picture too large size and can't support? I don know.

Eh.. I having problems that my pc always show cant recognize my iphone, yesterday when back to home i tried sync my music at 1st.. 100+ song i put in to my iphone.. happy, but when i disconnect it and i wan to connect it to my pc again, it show device not recognize .. so itunes can't detect da iphone. Can someone tell me why this always happen and any solution can get it done?

2ndly.. where i can get those application or game? thanks for info so much.. hopefully got any iphone fans here got msn so i can get any advise easily. TQ

ur iPhone is 3G or 2G. if it's 2G, you won't have MMS officially..

since when did dev-team come out with unlocking software for i3gs?

they dun even have hardware unlock at this moment.....

so at this moment u can turn your i3gs into most expensive ipod while waiting for the unlock solution.....

i noticed that BossPref and SBSettings did not turn off EDGE completely on my Iphone 3g 3.0 Fw.
anybody here got any solution for this. i search through numerous webs and forums (modmyi.com, iclarified.com, etc),
but no hit at all. i need solution as my celcom bill is almost 300..
i turn off my all notification already and inactivate all email acct on my Mail.app..
i already tried the method on iphonenodata.com, but still, EDGE still active.
all the APN setting are left blank and no profile installed.

pls..anyone..help..i almost cannot afford to pay the bills..

one thing u can do is call celcom.. deactivate your data/internet options.. that's what i did with maxis..

The APN settings I just key in

DO
NOT
CONNECT

into the fields.

i faced the same thing after upgrade to 3.0 with sbsetting install. the usage keep increasing even i already OFF the EDGE in sbsetting.

solution: use safari go to unlockit.co.nz to install a fake profile, now the usage no more increasing d. it works on mine, you may try it

if you install icy during JBing.. you'll get error when you try to update Cydia..

if you want to install icy.. install it after u update cydia..

Celcom is different with Maxis, certain plan can't deactivate the data connection.

I use both Maxis and Celcom on my Iphones, I'm thinking to terminate Celcom due to this reason.

i installed the fake APN settings and then turn off both 3G and EDGE connection at SBSettings at it stays off even after
i respring countless times. i test by went into Safari and no connection available.
but..i learn through the hard way as my bill is almost at my limit (RM290!!!)

but..if i turn on back both 3G and EDGE at SBSettings, the connection is restored and I can surf the internet again without even have to
remove the fake APN profile that I installed using iphonenodata.com trick.

weird though....urm....

btw, im a celcom user.

I think you should install both. Cydia has very long load times due to updating their packages but Icy works faster. Besides, there's no problem of having both. My IPhone sometimes have problem with Cydia (due to my wifi area) and so i use Icy as it uses less graphics (Vice versa when i feel that Cydia is better. ) In the end i'd suggest don't limit your phone, just install both.

I found that alot of apple user mentioned about high cost for data usage, but i wondering how to disable the 3g/edge/gprs .. I off the wifi and 3g setting from network, then i tried to go safari i stil can logon to google.com , i open weather also it stil can update..

Can someone guide me what application i should download from cydia to off edge? And can guide my with step by step...?
