Sorry for disturb, i having iphone 3g and previously i updated to firmware 2.2.1 by itunes, baseband 02.30.03 , Since now already launch version 3. Can i upgrade it to latest version? And anyway to unlock it? Because i can't use it now and can only put inside drawer... sad.. T.T

Is it!? Omg.. i was damn happy to hear this.. But can you roughly explain da step i should do..? Actualy i not really clear how to use iphone.. ~.~ previously i was accidently use "clear all contents function" to reset everything and i go to update it with itunes.. Now already scare to do any updating or changes without proper info..

I already downloaded version 3 and just update it to my iphone, but after i run redsnow to jailbreak it and ready to go for step install repo. Da cydia logo is not appear at my iphone menu... i already double check when i jailbreaking da install cydia already checked.

haihzzzzzzzz sad case... i try to restore it another one more time and jailbreak again... still the same.. the right corner there cydia logo in not there... ~.~

omg.. i think i know why this thing happen, juz now when i see properly again.. da cydia not disappear... is at 2nd page.. just scroll it to right side 2nd page, then u can see contacts and cydia

I finaly done ! (i think so)

after i saw cydia and i already install the ultrasnow. But i got same problems after reboot, it show "No simcard installed" at da device. Then juz now i try to take out the simcard without turn off, then i put it back again,i saw da signal there and wrote my maxis! thanks god.. finaly i can make a call just now.. after i got this iphone for few weeks.. T.T

Any issue i face again i will sharing here. TQ all frens here who giving me so many advise and instruction.

i do no know.. i juz accidently scroll to 2nd page and saw cydia icon then i juz follow the last few step and now i can using it. ~.~

Juz now my iphone suddenly show "No sim card installed", i have to take out simcard and put it in again only can get service.. ~.~ what happen actualy....?

locked set i think, this apple given by my brother last month and i accidently restore everything and updated to latest baseband to 02.30.03.. today morning only i make it to latest version 3 and use ultrasnow so it finaly can work..

(So touch because i got this apple almost 3 weeks, today finaly can make 1st call!)

but juz now when i reject a call from 1 colleague, then not longer i try to call again it show call failed.. then only i realise my maxis service is gone and it show no sim. Then i take out simcard and put it back and back to normal now..

I wonder what is the problems..

hahaha .. well true also XD anyway, already used for 1st day. so far so good, and having alot things to learn.. was learn how to sync music from my pc.. but then i tried sync my photo from pc to iphone but it can't work, izzit picture too large size and can't support? I don know.

Eh.. I having problems that my pc always show cant recognize my iphone, yesterday when back to home i tried sync my music at 1st.. 100+ song i put in to my iphone.. happy, but when i disconnect it and i wan to connect it to my pc again, it show device not recognize .. so itunes can't detect da iphone. Can someone tell me why this always happen and any solution can get it done?

2ndly.. where i can get those application or game? thanks for info so much.. hopefully got any iphone fans here got msn so i can get any advise easily. TQ

I found that alot of apple user mentioned about high cost for data usage, but i wondering how to disable the 3g/edge/gprs .. I off the wifi and 3g setting from network, then i tried to go safari i stil can logon to google.com , i open weather also it stil can update..

Can someone guide me what application i should download from cydia to off edge? And can guide my with step by step...?

Added on June 25, 2009, 1:37 pmlol.. rm20 gone.. I didnt apply for those internet becoz i currently using celcom broadband already.. And also i not really clever how to use this iphone yet..

I already follow the instruction dat iphonenodata.com and after i install.. i try to check weather it is showing update fail..even safari also mention "could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service"

So izzit done?

And can i ask "Maps" izzit GPS system? Need any data charges..?
