Can someone tell me what are the top/common apps that is still not supported/working in 3.0?

I am still holding back to upgrade my 1st Gen and 3G, afraid certain apps wont work or not available for 3.0 .. =.=

I received an email from Dav team saying quickpwn out this Friday something like that.

omg.. i think i know why this thing happen, juz now when i see properly again.. da cydia not disappear... is at 2nd page.. just scroll it to right side 2nd page, then u can see contacts and cydia

I finaly done ! (i think so)

after i saw cydia and i already install the ultrasnow. But i got same problems after reboot, it show "No simcard installed" at da device. Then juz now i try to take out the simcard without turn off, then i put it back again,i saw da signal there and wrote my maxis! thanks god.. finaly i can make a call just now.. after i got this iphone for few weeks.. T.T

Any issue i face again i will sharing here. TQ all frens here who giving me so many advise and instruction.

wat OS u using? XP or vista?

Are you facing the waiting to reboot in redsnow after u enter DFU mode?

i'm on Mac. after i enter DFU, at the final stage of the entire update. the waiting to reboot part is just damn bloody long. it doesnt show any progress at all!

i on windows, i think other mac user (david or someone else ) may help you. you try press power button and home button to force for 10 secs it restart see if it work anot.

Just to inform the waiting for reboot will not take more than 5 minute (max 10 minute) based on my experience.if more than that, means something wrong going on.

Yup, it does take a while. When i upgraded to 3.0 it took me an hour (including the installing, process, etc.) There should be a progress bar once you start restoring your phone both on your mac and on the phone. (Your mac would have a detailed process bar when you're restoring like "extracting software" and such.)

hmm but mine doesn't show anything up on the iphone from step 11 to step 12. meaning the part from rebooting to the ramdisk. its just stuck there or should i just be more patient and leave it there.

my phone refuses to start up again. : (

using redsnow? oh. so where can i find the tutorial for unlocking it? thanks for ur help brother.

if that case, just close the redsnow, then open back, and just go though the steps it will run but then cydia not installed. something like getting out of DFU mode. then you can try again.

Everything you need is there, all you need is a little effort to read.

are you using Redsn0w ? If you did, why not try out Pwnage on your Mac ?
I used Pwnage to JB from last time, never ever encountered error or failed at certain steps.

Furthermore, you have more options to choose in Pwnage.

I still do not get the cydia and contacts even tho' did it twice already. Wonder what's the issue. Do I need to do anything extra. I just follow IClarified.

i do no know.. i juz accidently scroll to 2nd page and saw cydia icon then i juz follow the last few step and now i can using it. ~.~

thanks friends. i think it takes a long time for my iphone to restart after it has gone into DFU mode. Everytime i DFU it takes a while even when not connected to get rebooted up again. very annoying. I guess the iPhone 2G is damn slow. do you encounter it. and the pop up message i got on my itunes is that it cant detect my iphone must disconnect and connect again. but still nothing. think im just gonna fork out a bit of money to get it done!!!

I used Pwnage last time around not redsnow. why didnt i just use pwnage la.

yeap ! follow all the instruction and upgrade and jailbreaking it without any problems.
