why the battery so weak one? i have to charge it everyday, unlike e71 the battery last for 1 week.

is my battery defective or everyone also charge daily?

How long have you been with tube? The battery will increase its capacity about two month ++ usage. My tube can last about 3days for the record. (GSM, Brightness low, always lock the phone, listen to music +- 2 per day). I'm charge the phone when warning msg is pop out or flat.

wtf... my garmin got problem again, today i play this morning in sch no problem, then now evening i play again the thing kenot work, this time it isnt registered... comes to the menu that u choose to purchase,free trail or product key... HELP LE

Mine using 3.5G, with the default screen brightness and normal usage can last about 2 days averagely.



Btw I noticed this v21 update has fixed the browser so damn much. Its much faster, stable and also they fixed the bug where the top of the screen has the URL which when in portrait mode it will make everything jumble up. You guys shld know what I mean. Now they remove the URL display all together.

Did deleting the cache folder work? I mean can you surf and stuff fine after that?

5800's battery normally can last 3 days, or are you a heavy user? did you really try after charged the battery how many long it can last..

Can't delete cache? How about you take a look at here, Browser > Options > Clear privacy data > Cache.

Yeah just did that, then checked in the cache, the folders are all empty after doing that, so I guess it worked.

i have to charge it 3 times already.
didnt know capacity increase with time, first time hear this.

2 days is not that good isnt it? the battery isnt that strong compare to other model.

i dont listen to music, but these few days i have been testing out garmin, may be gps eat alot of power.
i charged it full yesterday at 6 pm, this morning test garmin for a while then battery left only 1 bar around noon.

probly my battery got prob.

Asking on behalf of my sis..

to all rubberized hardcover case / silicon case user, do you use any sort of bag or leather/canvas case that can fit the 5800 with hardcover case on? i know the SP and the hardcover case protects it from scratches.. but i'm concerning of situation like.. the phone and the keys and any kind of hard sharp object in the bag.. and the object happens to point right at the screen... and if pressure is applied i scare it would damage the screen.. (SP is not going to do any good here)..

so i'm actually looking a canvas bag that have some sort of cushioning or hard side that can fit a 5800 (with case on already)...

Wont recommend her to use a leather case as it's easier to attract robbers.. like.. if you're the robber which one u rob on first sight (without seeing the phone)... the one that uses a leather case or the one without...

Just 3 days? Give your tube time bro. See the the result after 2 month ++ if not increasing, then you can call it a problem.
GPS certainly has big power consumption. Same goes with Wi-Fi, 3G etc.

For those who already update the firmware to v21, is anyone ind enuf to tell how to do so? As i try to check with Nokia software updater, The firmware still v20.
Any help will be appraciated!

my 5800 battery can last about 3-4 days with normal usage.
if i don touch, sometimes can last until a week.

Dial *#0000# > Options > Check for Updates (Requires RM when using GSM/3G , free with WiFi --public WiFi )

my battery can last max 2 day. Listen to music heavily on BH-503 kekekeke.

i charge mine daily coz my sis use it heavily at nite... n i'm a student...

weekends... fri - sun i dont charge it... and it last me quite well... just drop 3 bar on sunday nite... ( which is time for me to charge again since monday i have class..)

man...v21 doesnt change the font.the font depends on ur region.
europe region will hv a bold font.since v10.i know..i tried...
for apac like us our font is not bold.

if u flash ur phone to APAC product code ur font will not bold anymore.
