follow the steps HERE
an important note is that at step 10, save the SW.UNL file in notepad as ALL FILES and not TXT.

have patience and you will be rewarded......unless you pay rm80 for other ppl to install it  sweat.gif

Bro,

Just a word of advice, do not post any steps that could cause you to be warned here on lowyat.net. I am sure the big boys here will agree with me. You are an active member of this forum and it would be a shame if you get banned or something because you did not know you are not allowed to post such info. Please use ahem ahem, etc and let the members find their own way (google) when it comes to ways of getting their software to work.

Yea...but CAPDASE is so expensive sad.gif
Is it worth buying ? same as normal silicon case ?
*
Definitely worth buying, some forumer is selling it quite cheap, do a search in bulk sales.. think RM50. I had the old silicone case, really bulky. Capdase is slim and nice and the feel is good, textured.

Hmm bro, it stated zero dust 0%. .does it mean dust wont stick on this case?
*
Dust does not stick. You can brush off the dust that is on it with a cloth or a brush, unlike the other silicone case which i had, hard to clean the dust off.

Ok one new feature i see is that if you have a long sms, like 2 pages long it will show the page number when you scroll on the side. Quite cool. Also, the internet speed as mentioned is much faster. Loaded dailymobile.se very very fast. Gonna keep playing smile.gif

Ok just tested garmin xt with the new firmware. There were claims that it locks on faster. To me no difference. Maybe others can try and let us know.

Yeah i read the changelog, if you go to text and press the * key then a big menu comes up with all the icons. But i think the update is more to stabilize the phone. But at last we get it smile.gif

Icons are bigger when using some themes like the default sound wave. In my NCA themes that I like the icons are the same size.

If do a soft reset *#7370#, will my firmware reset to factory seeting as well?  i.e. change back to old firmware?
*
Soft reset does not change your firmware. Neither does a hard reset.

I seriously think youtube loads videos faster on the tube than on the pc. Well using xp that is. In ubuntu still very fast.

Added on April 28, 2009, 9:06 pmOk I know everyone is having fun with the new fw but check this out

http://www.symbian-freak.com/news/009/04/d...ls_revealed.htm

It shows that the processor in the N97 is not that great after all. So that might be bad news for the future N97 users but not for us. That means whatever N97 can do, our phone can do as well. Well almost smile.gif

As I said, sad for N97 users. Not so much for us tubians smile.gif Hoping that we can get the ngage games to work on ours, cause n97 will feature ngage games.
