Mainly because of software compatibility issues. I like to go around websites and install useful software for my computer, but 64-bits software are not as commonly available as 32-bits, and i am also afraid with 64-bits some old school games cannot be played.

u cant buy vaio comes wif 32bit win7 whn it is stated it is win7 64bit. 1 of my fren oso using CW15 wif 64bit. he tried to change to 32bit his own but too maybe driver problems and he changed back to 64bit.

dont worry as 64bit nowadays run pretty stable on those 32bit software. i never heard people sighing on not compatible software when they're using 64bits. as for those old school games, perhas you can try choosing the compatibility option or you can just run the software using XP Mode. (if you are using non Home Windows 7)

when are the new updates to vaio going to be out? are they going to update the CW series?

do you think the price would rise? i find that the cw series are at a comfortable price but anymore than that is a no-no. So the new laptop series are out in Q2/3? does that include the update to the CW series or the updates to old models are sooner?

As for the price, its depend on which specification of the CW itself. The one with Intel Core i3 and NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M graphics card and 256MB of dedicated video RAM price at USD800.00. My assumption is it wont varies much with the current price. I cant confirm on this.

Q2/Q3 is for new release along with this update.

my laptop is using wireless modem right now. Sometimes, the internet explorer can't seem to open the web page. According to network and sharing centre, it is connected to internet. Why is this happening? is it the modem problem or laptop problem?

My FW56: 5.6
CS: 5.5

WTF?

Z series even lower.. 4.x

FW loses on the graphic card.

Seems windows calculate more on the performance of GT210M Nvidia compred to ATI 4650.

One more thing, is it worth it to buy the Vaio Cleaning Kit, anyone?

not necessary needed. you could just buy yourself a microfibre cloth and lcd cleaning kit to clean up your VAIO.
