i know..thats why i didn't download it from download! in phone..i checked nokia site to know how much to purchase the software but instead when checked at download section, no price was mentioned. so i tried downloading it and voila! it was licensed...hehehe lucky me..

u guys know how to silent the ring tone/vibration when ppl call in?
last time SE can do this by pressing the volume key...

Jus press silince when the cals come in lor.. Or use the advance call manager to filter or answer ur cals lor..

yup e71 also by using volume key on right side of phone, the center small button.. mistake, thats only to mute call during a call...hehe to silence phone call is right soft key an option for silence will appear like xavi5567 mentioned..

ic...let me try that at home...besides muting it, can i set the backlight to be constantly on instead of blinking when ppl call in?

another question, when i press menu->office->dictionary(chinese icon), it says 'Dictionary word information missing. Install word database'....

i downloaded chinese mobile dictionary from nokia.com.my and installed it...still the same message appears...how ar?

har? ur backlight will blink meh when people cal in? mine never pun jus remain constant nia.. if u mean the breathing light , it is under personalization,
the chines icon dictionary eh? can throw tat 1 away la( only available for asian firmware anyway).. the english 1 is good enough, can install 3 language only, mine hav chines, indonesia, and english, so u can set the language as target or source or input..

emm...i mean the lcd display, the back light will on and off when the phone is ringing...

anyone knows the price of e71 housing?

u try go to setting>personalization>display>power saver time out-->set to 30 sec; light timeout 15sec
mine phone display didn blink also , jus constant light on nia when a call come in.

damn funny, i m jus sharing tis to all e71 user here .. i laugh the moment my e71 is giving me direction,
the procedure: Unrar, put it in to your garmin voices directory and rename it to the same name as one of the pre-installed voices; eg English_British_.vpm

giv it a try and laugh it out

anybody know how to make files with long name rolls to read the long file name? any shortcut? i can't understand how does nokia expect people to read the files with long filename?

i can do this using activefile (the long filename will scroll by itself) but i prefer to use standard software as much as possible..

ok...now i know when in 'General' profile, the lcd wont blink when the phone rings...and can mute the ring tone jz by pressing the 'options'...

in 'silent' profile, the lcd will blink when the phone rings...and cannot mute the vibration...
