Upgrades are done in stages. If you want to expand the North-South highway, surely it cannot be done all at once in a few days. It will be done in stages. Similarly for large network infrastructures.

Added on April 15, 2009, 11:56 amIf you read previous posts or the TM announcement, the date 17 Apr has already been mentioned a few days ago.

At PC Fair, P1 was giving a 7 days trial period for their service. Call them and find out whether that is still on. Maybe you can try the service for a week and see how it is in your area.

We really should let Najib know that the failure of TM is going to cost BN alot of votes. Youth nowadays love their internets, and with the sad state our broadband is in right now, all that anger is going to be directed towards the government for protecting such an incompetent company.

using a proxy, we can get full speed. but using a non proxy, its back to snail speed. why is it like that? if the cables are really affected, shouldn't the speed be teh same if using proxy or not.....

It's a routing problem.If you try to use a Singapore VPN to visit China or US websites,you also feel faster than original connection.

then, streamyx should made proxy server for us.. like we used before, 219.93.178.162.. that was under streamyx.. but now cant use already.. think they block it..

7 days only? not 15 days? lol..i dont use P1 because they limit the download depends on the package, and the unlimited download package is quite expensive compare to streamyx..

That site is hosted in US? Maybe when they find it so slow to access their own site using Streamyx, something may be done about it.

loading of all US sites is freakin' slow. Facebook seems normal. and torrent can hit 60-65kB/s max (total speed of 2 files downloading).
