You guys just rant and rant on.....can you guys do anything like reading other threads in how to fix(temporarily) the slowness?????
Some users have posted like ...."use VPN"(unless you can pay for bolehVPN)....use proxy(free and some do need to pay)

NEXT, Choose the proxies (always use proxy serves closes to our country,eg.Thailand,Singapore,Vietnam,Indonesia or which ever closes.)

Then set the proxies in your web browser,if you do not know how to,congrats...go and read a book or something before coming back here again to set up.


Warning though,some proxies are not fully functioning,even though you can use, but they may not be able to load certain websites. So please use others.
(for experts,you do know the advantage and disadvantage of proxies right? use at your own risks)

AND ONE FINAL NOTE...don't ask which is the best proxies..there's no such thing! why? sometimes it may go down or up...it depends...so don't blame me for what Sh*t you faced during using it...use it at your own risk..

Now go and set it up...and you'll be having a nice day...you can even configured it in ur torrent programs to download at faster speeds.

PROXIES DOESN'T SOLVE A THING..

It's like a car with a ruined engine, even if you put an F1 oil or even a rocket oil, it still doesn't perform well.

We are ranting because we paid for the service. And what do we get? a stupid service!

I went to TMNET today - waited for more than half an hour for my call where there was only like 3 customers waiting, all of a sudden every agents at counter were missing like 15 minutes or so.. left all customers there, including customers who are at their desk.. i guess it was their 15minutes break? WTF all in one go? Who's goin to serve the customer?

So i waited and sorted out all infos i need to know in terminating my streamyx account and phone line once and for all. Gave me 2 forms to fill and then says account should be terminated within 3 days after submission.

Which i'm going to do next week.

And I suggest to all screamyx users who had been fooled for so long.. guys and gals. it's time to change, dun care, just change to whatever ISPs that's available in your area - come on, what do you expect more from an ISP who's a LIAR.

well i agree wif u ..... we pay for the service...... of cos we will be very pist....... n not all the ppl in here know how to
use farkin proxies..... even some might not werk...... n doin so much rubbish just to get the line we were supposed to
get n we dun......drives us up the wall...... some ppl like me hav tried so many ways but some just got lucky n some just dun.....

anyone can suggest a better broadband ? cos maxis sucks big time too..... esp the mobile broadband......
any good recommendations.....



additional info.... 60.50 ip speedtest is smooth but not stable.....

ip 124.82 test is much more better wif result



if u change ur ip too many times n dl using RS.... they will change ur pwd.....n send u an email sayin that u might be sharin ur acc or ur acc hav been hacked.....do it too many times n u might get ur acc terminated.....

I know...so what can you do now???you rant to them?I think their customer service staffs are gonna resign soon....I'm sure everyone can guess that being a customer service staff there sucks? why? most of the calls to there is either complains or rants about the caller's phone line. Nothing good will be ever coming up if they pick up the phone.
Just bear with it for a while,I know it might sounds stupid or idiotic but what can you do seriously??? Unless you go post a letter to The Stars, you might just get it fix. OR go and gather up some people who hates Streamyx like you and the others to organize a protest and stand at their headquarters???

Most of the broadband in M'sia are problematic as well.....Maxis is slow,Celcom coverage also bad, P1 wimax slows down at certain times or weak signals.

If I were Screamyx user, I would subscribe to 1Mbps plan (RM 99) since TM may not have bandwidth to support higher subscribed rate and get a proxy from Singapore for international traffic since TM usually has better connection to Singapore than other foreign countries, e.g. vps #1 from gplhost.com at RM 44 (USD 12 x 3.7). Total cost for one person = RM 99 + 44 = RM 143.

How you want to handle this issue is up to you :-)

Today I received my very prompt streamyx bill for this month.

How dare they while giving this kind of service.

Same here, not sure what happened to my connection. All the speedtest are up to the expectations, just don't understand why when i am surfing websites, it takes really really long time to load. Even logging on LYN...

3 years ago before the taiwan earthquake. It was like heaven with stable 2mbps speed and everything else. Its so much different since then, packet loss, timeouts, high international link pings.
