Hello,

Juz wanna ask u guys... is this BlazBlue beginner friendly?
Easy to learn difficult to master kind of game?
Or is the difference between seasoned players and beginners are too far off?
I did try guilty gear when i wanted to learn but the only thing i ended up learning is to change more tokens coz i got comboed frm beginning to end... laugh.gif

I'd put it this way.

BlazBlue is easier to get into, harder to master.
So yes, technically it is beginner friendly. If you compare it with 3D fighters, I'd say this is the "Tekken" of 2D fighters.
Easy to play, but will take some serious dedication if you want to be good.

Well, if Arc doesn't do the same on the PS3, I'll be crying for good now.

the game is newbie friendly because it has shortcuts. it is easy to learn and maybe hard to master. i say maybe because i am not an expert fighting game master. if you were comboed to death in gg then you can expect the samething to happen to you in bb when you fight with expert players in bb.

sadly, i have to agree with you on this, because when i tried mp, it lagged and sometimes i can't even connect to the host. don't know if tmnut fault or psn fault.

In a way, I can't be too sure if it's newbie friendly or not but with only 4 buttons is there really need to be a pro to learn all 4 of them ? lol
This is the 360's achievements.
I'm still wondering will it be the same on the PS3's version or not.

Learning the basics of the game would be easy i guess, its just being able to understand some technical features the system uses that may or may not help in the gameplay.

For instances when i started playing GG and was using Venom as my main, the Jump Install feature helped out a lot on his game play. previously when i didnt know about it, i find venom was a bit dead and couldn't pressure ppl as what i've seen in match videos. rclxub.gif

There was also a bug, the Fuzzy Guard, being exploited (its still under debate whether it was purposely made in the game or its a bug biggrin.gif) but i find this bug/feature helpfull for pressuring opponents.

Still, I would say playing conventioally like a Street Fighter can still manage to play the game but u'll lose out on everything the game system has to offer. I myself even though i played GG for so long, i still cant execute some of these technical things in a match blush.gif

Aiyoh, when Freddy showed me the R3 today I expressed interest (RM200+ .. i forgot the exact figure), and when I spoke of the R1-LE he said it's in his warehouse but didn't take it.. otherwise I'd be taking a day off work tomorrow to play biggrin.gif
