today i played a ranked match using Jin with another japanese guy using Litchie and i managed to win! lol. it was a tough match, he comboed me like nobody's business and i threw enough ice back at him to celebrate christmas early but in the end i won 2-1.

for those of you who think that shortcuts are cheap, you will be glad to know that shortcuts are disabled during ranked matches. they can only be used on unranked matches. also the lag which i felt earlier is totally gone! there is no more lag except during the beginning of the match where you see the intro of the stage. when the match starts the game is as smooth as silk.

btw, there are kiasu japanese guys who will disconnect the game when they are about to lose. it happened to me when i was going to win and the jap suddenly disconnected from the game! why so kiasu? it's only a game. no money to win also want to disconnect. jeez.
