Hmmm...which one to buy? R1 or R3?

If there's any DLC in the future, buying R3 would be convenient since we just got our own PS store but R1 seems to have a lot of people to play with & most members here buy R1.

Um..really can't decide. What do you guys think?

Yea, online MP is region free.

But currently, the DLC out on the XBL marketplace (not out on PSN yet) are just unlockables which you can unlock by playing the game. In other words, it's for pussies who can't beat certain events and characters to unlock something.

I don't think there'll be any DLC for new characters though, the devs aren't interested in expanding the roster.

Simple, you want the Limited Edition or not ?
Yes = R1
No = R3

mp is region free and like SF4, if your internet connection is bad, there will be lag. sometimes you can't even connect to the host if your connection is very bad.

whenever i boot up the game, it will say "looking for dlc content". so i assume there will be some sort of dlc in the future.

Its basically a HRAP3 with BB stickers and casing nia

saw the game review in IGN. 9.4 !! i heard this game is really good. i considering the LE since they have audio CDs anyone of u playing this game already? how was it? is it worth getting?

If you love fast paced fighting games, this is the perfect game for you.
There's only LE for R1 because it's the price of the normal edition.

To me, with the extra stuffs It's definitely worth getting for that price.

mmm, i heard from my friend this game plays like guilty gear, which can be quite complicated. i'm an idiot when it comes to fighting game. cannot even play sf4 properly

What to do wei, I've been waiting for this game for half a year !
And I've been playing GG since GGXX
This is the only fighting game which I really adore.
I played SF then and I find it a little too slow paced.

Yes, because it's made by the same people who did Guilty Gear.
And don't worry, this game is newbie friendly like what nwk mentioned in the previous page(I think) that there's shortcuts for the moves.

Even if you're a newbie at this game, you can button mash from what I can see. >__> lol
