QUOTE(SSJBen @ May 13 2009, 02:55 AM) I've got to be honest, most of the astral finishes look awesome and jaw dropping. Some looks cheesy, like v13's one for example. there is R3 version of blazblue with english, korean, chinese language according to playasia. expensive or not, i am still going to get it.This game for sure going to be expensive though. Only JAP and US version, no Asia or EU. Furthermore, the audience here for this game isn't high. Expect to pay more than RM200 for it. |

QUOTE(Sora @ Jun 28 2009, 01:24 PM) Well, think of it this way. actually you are paying close to RM30 for those things. for people like me who have no interest in those things they just buy the NE.You're paying an extra RM10-ish like what SSJBen's price figures for the Original Soundtrack and a Bonus disc and maybe the packaging nicer a little bit. |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 28 2009, 06:32 PM) Yea, yea whatever. did i step on your toes? why are you so annoyingly rude to me? you got a problem with me? why are you talking about FF here in this thread? what has that got to do with this game? You're the same person who brags about paying for FF13 demo and FF advent children blu ray in the FFXIII thread. Up to you, your money yea. See ya in the game. There are alot of differences obviously, but I think they aren't that significant. Atleast from all the combo vids I've seen. The switch from 5 buttons to 4 buttons may need a little bit of getting used to, but isn't anything major. you are correct it's my money. i chose R3 because i am not a fanatic collector like you who would pay his own life to get a few bonus discs. so what's it to you? i am not bragging anything and if you got a problem with bragging you should turn your attention to dpenalty who's bragging about getting his R1 game first and getting his BB stick first. if you don't want to read my comments you can always ignore me. nobody is forcing to you to read my comments. i have no reason to quarrel with you. do you have a reason to quarrel with me? getting back on topic: i just got this game a few hours ago and there is a 1.01 patch out already. character sprites are a bit jaggy. music is loud like gg. best of all, there are short cuts to perform combos and ultimate moves. you wish SF4 had shortcuts after you played this game. but of course some of you hardcore nuts would find that cheap, but hey, i like cheap. there is also a story mode. is worth RM200+ for a fighting game? yes, if you can afford it. otherwise, save your money for something better like Uncharted 2. |

QUOTE(Phyurix @ Jun 28 2009, 08:22 PM) Care to elaborate what kind of shorcuts? Press 2 buttons and the special/super comes out? you use the R stick on the DS3 to perform the shortcuts. example : push the R stick right and you do a combo, push the R stick down and you do your ultimate move. there is no super bar cap whatsoever in this game.i remembered before one of the MvC games had a similar system but they cap the chars with only 1 super bar. So there should be some draw backs for using such features This post has been edited by nwk: Jun 28 2009, 09:07 PM |

QUOTE(Sairenji @ Jun 28 2009, 10:21 PM) Hmmm...which one to buy? R1 or R3? whenever i boot up the game, it will say "looking for dlc content". so i assume there will be some sort of dlc in the future. If there's any DLC in the future, buying R3 would be convenient since we just got our own PS store but R1 seems to have a lot of people to play with & most members here buy R1. Um..really can't decide. What do you guys think? |

QUOTE(Sora @ Jun 29 2009, 10:16 AM) What to do wei, I've been waiting for this game for half a year ! the shortcuts are not so newbie friendly because they are preset by the game and you can't change them. some characters like ragna, the shortcuts are very useful but other characters like Jin, you are better off doing your own combos. And I've been playing GG since GGXX This is the only fighting game which I really adore. I played SF then and I find it a little too slow paced. Yes, because it's made by the same people who did Guilty Gear. And don't worry, this game is newbie friendly like what nwk mentioned in the previous page(I think) that there's shortcuts for the moves. Even if you're a newbie at this game, you can button mash from what I can see. >__> lol Added on June 29, 2009, 3:21 pm QUOTE(shinjite @ Jun 29 2009, 03:16 PM) alex can give you discount if you ask him nicely.... QUOTE(hanz079 @ Jun 29 2009, 03:25 PM) Hello, the game is newbie friendly because it has shortcuts. it is easy to learn and maybe hard to master. i say maybe because i am not an expert fighting game master. if you were comboed to death in gg then you can expect the samething to happen to you in bb when you fight with expert players in bb.Juz wanna ask u guys... is this BlazBlue beginner friendly? Easy to learn difficult to master kind of game? Or is the difference between seasoned players and beginners are too far off? I did try guilty gear when i wanted to learn but the only thing i ended up learning is to change more tokens coz i got comboed frm beginning to end... Added on June 29, 2009, 3:54 pm QUOTE(daydreaming @ Jun 29 2009, 03:45 PM) sadly, i have to agree with you on this, because when i tried mp, it lagged and sometimes i can't even connect to the host. don't know if tmnut fault or psn fault. This post has been edited by nwk: Jun 29 2009, 03:54 PM |
