US version release pushed back 5 days to 30th of June, end of the month.
So far from what I've seen, atleast from the arcade matches... the game is alot more refined and way more balanced than the already balanced Guilty Gear(yea I can't belief I just said that). Obviously for consoles, the game will be tweaked and balanced even further.
Seems very interesting, may actually pick this game up.

Everyone all over in the SF4 camp.... GG would be way too hard for some actually. Freaking punishing on the hardest difficulty.

QUOTE(danger46 @ May 13 2009, 12:49 AM) 12 @_@ , that so little...will they add more? i like the gameplay look so stylish And we haven't even seen the most of it yet. Most if not all the gameplay vids are done to death with Ragna(basically the main char). 12 may seem little when you compare to SF4, but judging from how deep the gameplay goes based on the older GG games, I can tell you theres going to be some insane amount of hours to actually call yourself "good" in this game.

I've got to be honest, most of the astral finishes look awesome and jaw dropping. Some looks cheesy, like v13's one for example.
This game for sure going to be expensive though. Only JAP and US version, no Asia or EU. Furthermore, the audience here for this game isn't high. Expect to pay more than RM200 for it.

QUOTE(Sora @ May 13 2009, 02:00 PM) Astral finish are bloody awesome but people normally do that in order to have a flashy game end. Infact actually, you can only use AF in the last round of a match and when your opponent's life is under 25%. So.... it won't be as broken as Destroyed finishes in GG... in a way. The thing is though, you can now chain up combos into an AF.....

Yea. For an LE, it's actually one of the cheapest LE relased thus far! Very good choice to pick it up. The regular version comes out only next month IINM.

The joystick came out with the Japan version, which is a month ago. Considering BlazBlue follows the roots of GG, no a fightstick isn't vital to play the game well. Far from it. This isn't SF4.

R3 and JAP version is out, that's for sure.
But right now, only the LE version of BlazBlue is out for R1. It's a special thing that ARC is doing, by offering the LE for the same price as the normal edition.
There is no R2 version at the moment, as they have no intentions of realeasing at EU yet.

QUOTE(nwk @ Jun 28 2009, 03:38 PM) actually you are paying close to RM30 for those things. for people like me who have no interest in those things they just buy the NE. Yea, yea whatever. You're the same person who brags about paying for FF13 demo and FF advent children blu ray in the FFXIII thread. Up to you, your money yea. See ya in the game. Added on June 28, 2009, 6:33 pmQUOTE(Sora @ Jun 28 2009, 05:39 PM) Bagus, I'll be waiting Even I myself know quite a lot for this game and waited half a year for this to arrive to the consoles, I have 0 experience on how to play in this game. I think GG players should feel quite right at home with BB. There are alot of differences obviously, but I think they aren't that significant. Atleast from all the combo vids I've seen. The switch from 5 buttons to 4 buttons may need a little bit of getting used to, but isn't anything major. This post has been edited by SSJBen: Jun 28 2009, 06:33 PM

QUOTE(Sora @ Jun 28 2009, 07:59 PM) I'm a little nervous on the control system on the controller though. A little doubtful since to me that the 4 buttons looks like it meant for sticks. =/ Should I invest on a stick ? lol Indeed, it sounds like the game is built around a stick (wait aren't most fighting games like that?). I'm thinking if I should get a stick or not too, but it is darn expensive. GG worked well with controllers, I'm expecting the same for BB too.

Yea, online MP is region free.
But currently, the DLC out on the XBL marketplace (not out on PSN yet) are just unlockables which you can unlock by playing the game. In other words, it's for pussies who can't beat certain events and characters to unlock something.
I don't think there'll be any DLC for new characters though, the devs aren't interested in expanding the roster.

QUOTE(hanz079 @ Jun 29 2009, 03:25 PM) Hello, Juz wanna ask u guys... is this BlazBlue beginner friendly? Easy to learn difficult to master kind of game? Or is the difference between seasoned players and beginners are too far off? I did try guilty gear when i wanted to learn but the only thing i ended up learning is to change more tokens coz i got comboed frm beginning to end... I'd put it this way. BlazBlue is easier to get into, harder to master. So yes, technically it is beginner friendly. If you compare it with 3D fighters, I'd say this is the "Tekken" of 2D fighters. Easy to play, but will take some serious dedication if you want to be good.
