Wow that's quite good. How many percent highway and city? Also what speed @ what RPM u drive usually? I'm still contemplating auto and manual.

mostly 80-90-100kmh....but few times got tempted by other drivers on the highway made me go 140kmh...

rpm - tried to stay below 3k whenever im aware of the rpm needle.

i can say 60% highway and 40% city.

Below 3k means have to drive quite slowlor esp in city...your FC gives me hope..how many service have u done already?

in city i had no chance to drive fast. got stuck everywhere.

ive done 3 service already...thinking to skip 15k and go for 20k service. not sure

normally TS are from the blmclub members as we needa update stuff here as well..

the biggest improvement is being able to build a car independently.. proton relied too long on mitsu engine ..i believe this delay them to develop a good fuel efficient engine.

saga 120kmh is 4xxx rpm liao...wind noise crazy loud...160kmh unbearable wind noise and side mirror vibrating like want to fly off liao...
kelisa 120kmh only 2xxx - 3000 rpm

That bad? My myvi 1.0 i think sound wise ok but whole car shaky

I just called up my SA regarding the trade in, he said I can still use my car and do 1 to 1 exchange with new car and on the same day, the 2nd hand car dealer will go with me to the bank to settle all the hire purchase loan and everything else, I wonder is this true or not, has anyone done it like this before? Cos I called up my friend's mother in law who is doing a car business also she said I would have to surrender the car first at least 3 days later only I get the car, otherwise there's no way she can have the money to pay for the new car and also loan. But from my understanding is probably she is not a proton dealer (like proton-edar) so she actually needs something tangible unlike the proton dealer who have the car in their stockyard. What do u guys think?

I have done 40k mileage with my car, however the fuel consumption is getting worst.

Previously i can get around 300km with rm50

Now I only manage to 280km with rm50.

driving 85% at highway does not help, I only manage to get around 320km with rm50. I have tried not to drive so aggressively like driving around 90-110km. doesn't help alot.

Have to find the Sifu here to teach me how to drive economically.

Added on June 22, 2009, 5:54 pmmy friend told me that they announced over flyfm radio that 1.6 got different colours already wor..even tho i saw in proton-edar site still show chilli red only, anybody heard of this? wonder if its true..

some of our car have wind sound when high speed because of the design of the car
but i am sure it won't shake 1 bit....u go 200 also won't shake...this is what i like abt the car

How to drive economically? Hmmm.... My way would be always only 80km~90km/h, and never rev kao kao. Plan your journey so you don't have to rush all the time. Try to maintain your RPM not to exceed 3K.

I'm driving auto and fix in a LCP, this is also another factor.

Actually my colleague also complain of the FC too...But his car is only 1 week old, guess he will have to wait until 3rd or 4th service then only can see the pattern.

I hope they come out full spec 1.6 all colors, then i sure buy..but scared long waiting list also..
