FC problem...dn't rev to high when changing gear....maintain speed 85-95KM/H when the IAFM is open
car louder than other car is normal since our car have totally no soundproof except the floor unlike kenari and other model of car which have full soundproof
soundproof is very expensive so by cutting that....can make the car alot cheaper
u can try soundproof it...it really improves!

this car can actually achieve very low fc...proton even have a contest for it
if it's impossible...proton will never dare to have a FC contest for this car
it's the way u drive that matters
and make sure u have sufficient air pressure in your tyre....i tested be4....less air really can affect the FC

Sometimes i like the engine sound roar kao kao. U rev till rpm3 ~ 4 got the sound liao. Lolz. Eventough the car dun really accelerate fast, but the roaring scare cars bside me, especially motorcyclist. LOLZ And as a result, my iafm got "tak tak" sound liao. So happie

Mine is disc brake problem. But normally i will giv it warm up 1st. They said switch on the air corn when ur temp meter reach 3 boxes. So i juz follow Oh ya, bout the temp meter. It rises very quickly rite? I mean a while only the temp meter reach 3 boxes liao. For eg, juz the journey out of my taman for the first trip for the day ~

my car break problem...

the sound of the break sometimes like you know those auto care put "D" n press break..then leave a bit the brake then got those dunno ugly sound...yah mine got..

but not everytime..sometimes only..y ar??

Mine is manual. My brake sumtimes got "eeeee" sound when i press. Even without pressing, when the wheel rotate also got sound.

i owned 26999 iswara and now BLM, i found out that Campro engine is more noisy compared to the old-school 4G13 engine. iswara also has no soundproof either at the bonet or at the engine firewall, but it's more quite. BLM when reach 120 km/h@ 4000 rpm, the engine sound terribly and looks like gonna explode >.<"

My one definitely is not disc brake problem as I didn't press my brakes when the sound occurs. It's like when the car moves it will produce the sound. It's odd that the sound only occurs when u reverse the car slowly and drive slowly ard 5km/h. When hot weather don't have these kind of sound. I don't normally let it warm up until temp shows 3 bars. I just drove it the minute I start the car.

I would like to throw u guys a question: what improvement has Proton after 24 years of establishment?

Let us compare 1st generation Saga sedan year 1985 to now BLM year 2009 ====>

1) Engine: 4G13 is more quite than Campro, and the fuel consumption is about the same

2) Space: Saga sedan has a longer boot, but BLM has a better back passengers' leg room

3) Control: some guys said that BLM has Lotus handling and is better than Saga, but i dun think so, cos i can't hardly found out any difference among Saga& BLM handling.

As conclusion, Proton used 24 years and hardly to say to have any improvement in their car building technology, not even able to develop a good fuel efficiency engine.

I think same wif mine. The wheel rotating "eeee" sound happen when i m driving slow. sumthing like 10~20kph liddat. Even without pressing the brake

My one is auto...but I don't think it's a serious major problem as many had this problem I guess. Hard to tell to SC people. As this sound only occurs when it's cold plus you are driving slowly without pressing brake.

u try crashing a saga sedan against a pole...
then try crashing a blm against a pole...

i can assure you that you stand a higher chance of surviving in a blm...

about your no3, care to test out your saga sedan against a blm in sepang?

you can mod your saga sedan suspension and i will only take a stock blm auto
and you can try to prove to me that there is no difference in handling...

well said.....it's true
old model's steering are hard and big
turning it requires slowing abit down and turn harder
ppl are complaining
after they change it with lotus one....no more complain so far
with this car...u can just do high speed cornering without any speed decreasing
i know cuz i drived it too....even my dad also can sense the difference...it's very clear

YESSSSSS !!! this is my problem too. i sent my saga for service and everytime they told me it is done and no more sound. but next morning as i reverse the car out from my house, the "chit chit" sound occurs again !!! ady 3 times i sent for the problem but still "chit chit chit" everytime i get my car out from my house in the morning and while i stop. but after the car gets warm up, there is no more such sound ....

the foreman asked me is it the front or back wheel prob, but i WISH I KNOW !!!

ady 2 services liao, and the fc is still high at rm50 for exactly 200km. sign ........ sigh ........

I need help regarding some of these problems...
1. The car (tyre i think) make sound when i turn. Is it alignment problem? The sound is squeaking sound as IF im using handbrake to drift
2. Sometimes when i turn the steering can hear as if paper is stuck behind it
3. Everytime I switch to reverse gear, always got crank sound.

I faced that problem same like you also 3-4months after using the car, that time my mileage's about 2000-3500km, estimate.

Then I ignored it (lol) and then after some time about 3-4 weeks the yii yii sound no more.

Now at 6+k my darling's working fine. Lucky didn't reach more than 150 so no aifm problem. XD
