QUOTE(mikehwy @ Jun 23 2009, 12:31 AM) oh yes, the default/factory iafm has prob. this os confirmed by proton foreman. rm50 for 200km?? r u serious dude??i heard something in front or at the bottom of my blm auto 2 weeks back, and i sent my blm auto and the proton manager says 'no need to wait for the replacement iafm parts to come. some have been waiting since january 2009!!!' so i followed his recomendation and got mine 'modified'. i dint know what it meant but mine was 'modified' instead of waiting for the newer or better (?) batch of iafm. but free though to get it replaced..... also, like someone here, my steering begins to hear "jweet jweet' sound. the sound is soft but sounded like wind blowing softly ..... proton foreman said most likely it was the 'bearing' ..... they dint repair it as they told me to 'wait for the sound to get louder first' ..... wa ha ha ... like this also can .... !@#$$#%^$# dont know safe to drive fast or not geh? stil my main prob is the fc. at rm50 for 200km, it s robbing my hard earn $$$$$$$ that super kuat makan minyak... even my car heavy carry many thing last time i check rm50 can give me 340km mixed hiway and city drive. |

Usually RM50 can get me more than 250km for city driving. Driving a M-Line (auto).
60km for 1st bar is normal for my car. If fill petrol to the brim can go more km (1st bar) coz there is more fuel inside. |

QUOTE(mikehwy @ Jun 23 2009, 07:21 AM) yeah, this is supermakan minyak. proton sc also cnt do much now. i simply wonder why? but hope that after another few k km then it gets better, but i doubt it ..... You sure you calculate correctly? Correct procedure:1) Go to Petrol Station and pump till pump automatically stops. Reset your trip meter to 0. 2) Use until say 100km. 3) Go back to SAME PETROL STATION AND SAME PUMP. 4) Pump till full until the pump stops automatically. 5) Jot down the the amount pumped. Your km/l = Trip Meter distance/Amount pumped If your earlier calculation is correct, it'll ends up as 7.x km/l which is very heavy. I think you should get at least 9km/l for the BLM Auto. My relative's BLM use RM50 for 250km...and i thought that is already very makan minyak. But yours is insane...if problem persist, write to Proton's MD officially to highlight the problem and ask them to fix or replace your car! If you don't write in, you'll not have proof of complaint! And cc a copy to the NCCC. Read this: http://nccc.org.my/index.php?option=com_co...id=882&Itemid=1 Make your stand! This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 23 2009, 10:35 AM |

Anyone know where can I have BLM Mountain Blue touch up paint?? Or where in Klang Valley offer the best quality and cheapest of touch up in town for rear bumper?
So unlucky that a motorbike bang my car rear when stop at traffic light, and left a big mark on my car bumper. Sigh... This post has been edited by jacktai: Jun 23 2009, 10:59 AM |

ive never do touchup before. but normally workshop near my place can spray whole bumper for rm150. touch up should be cheaper.
it was hard for me to find touch up paint for granite grey too. so i decided to send to workshop. i think if solid color like red or white or black can easily find matching color This post has been edited by xshiro: Jun 23 2009, 11:04 AM |

I think for the mountain blue also the same case, as I hear this is a new colour so be a bit hard to find. Hope can find a good painting quality workshop, abit worry that the paint wear off after few year like my father Perdana, the repaint part so irritating after few year. if u want to do touch up, be careful when you diy if you're not good at it, can make things worse (color not even, etc)..unless u know what u are doing, best do it at shop.

any I think your car got some problem, as the fc are terrible, me full tank RM55 can go at least 350-400km. I mostly pump RM30 then can go for around 200km. Anyway mine is manual.
Either ur Auto/engine problem or your right foot problem. |
