I thought I heard this "buzzing" a few days ago, but I've since gone and tried to fiddle with the volume level, leaving bass and treble levels in default settings. No buzz so far...but I guess since I heard it, I guess it will make an appearance sooner or later...hehe.
Normally use external speakers for movies etc, only using internal speakers for Astro programs. |

QUOTE(dehantu @ May 5 2009, 12:41 PM) Does it mean...it cannot be fixed? even though you tighten up the screws? is this because of molding issue or what..? i got 2 units of Samsung LA40R81BM lcd ... both also rattling when the volume is turned up to average loudness.. nvr bother to call the seller .. my guess is these slim speakers just look good but unable to handle mid n lower freqBTW, Panasonic SC came to my house.... tighten up the screws again! Sound still ada! Main2 with the sound menu... still ada...I asked him...anybody else facing the same issue? the answer is YES! For this newly release model. He said the model he attended was 50" one. So how to fix this?? no answer given... Lastly, he gave me a suggestion.... use Home theater...!!! This post has been edited by mys_terious: May 5 2009, 05:06 PM |

QUOTE(tolorati @ May 5 2009, 08:14 PM) guys, what is the meaning of this setting, side panel? and also what is the meaning of color management? Colour management is supposed to mean a means of moving the colour points (google CIE chart) in a CIE Chart to match standards (also the luminance (brightness) of each colour that is not shown on the CIE chart). However Panasonic's implementation is different. You are given 3-4 choices. Move the slider to the extreme right. That gives the most pleasing combination to the eyes. This should be good for HD sources.thanks in adv!! |

Btw, the promotion of free SDR-S26 and 4GB SD card will end on 10th May 2009.
New price without freebies of the above for 42X10K will be RM3,699 (RRP), which is a reduction of freaking RM300 only. |

QUOTE(kianwee @ May 5 2009, 03:43 PM) Maybe la.... since all have the same issue... I even checked with my friend who owned TH-42PV80H... it seems that this model no issue.. BTW...default value giving Bass +4 and tri +4... which caused the rattling even harder! QUOTE(Jemi @ May 6 2009, 09:12 AM) Anyone do the Burn-In? The D-Nice guide tell to set Picture to Vivid, but X10 doesn't have Vivid setting. Pls do not use the word "burn-in", it is taboo for a plasma display. The correct term is break in. The main reason is to age the phospors evenly. You can use any mode if you still want to as long as you use the full screen colour images. I will try to contact D-Nice to see how I can derive localized settings of the break in. I believe you can use maybe Standard mode and turn the contrast up close to what the vivid setting was at. This is my assumption, I have used the break in disc before and it serves to age phospors evenly past its infancy stage. |

QUOTE(dehantu @ May 6 2009, 12:35 PM) Hi... when you said break in 100hrs... means... continue on for 100hrs is it? or on and off? How can I check the hours? I believe the break in 100 hours is calculated by your own..On and off i'm not sure but if you choose to on and off just be aware of your plasma aspect ratio set to 16:9 and lowest contrast & brightness before your plasma reach 100hours break in. My plasma is approx 200hrs w/o break in, so i m asking whether my plasma still nid to run the break in? |

QUOTE(kianwee @ May 4 2009, 04:15 PM) RM300 for a new SDR-S26, this must be a joke. if we stop by a panasonic shop and saw a 50% off the RM1299, we probably will think about buying it.Added on May 7, 2009, 7:51 pm QUOTE(dehantu @ May 6 2009, 02:03 PM) yes, can anyone advise whether >200 hours can still do the break in? mine just reach 200 hrs. This post has been edited by simon9968: May 7 2009, 07:51 PM |
