My viewing distance is around 10.5 feets.

Which is the best size?

(1). P42X10K or PV80
(2). P50X10K or 50PV80

If you can find buyer to buy your camcorder it would be best. I got my unit for 3.6k, sold the cam for 1k, HDMI cable sold to my colleague for RM50, the unit only cost me RM2.55k  rclxms.gif

normal price for the camcorder alone is how muchy

Sifu, one thing i never understand is why can't Panasonic tune to the best setting in the factory? Why tune to crappy setting and sell to end users and have end users tune it again?  doh.gif

coz diff source will need diff settings..

Thanks bro, i tried and everything work fine. Only problem i face is i can't press the "on" on plasma to quit.
(I have to switch off the TV set and on back)
And i also got the information i need.
Total time is 78 mins and counts = 25!!!

Which mean the set i got is not a new one. The most i on n off the TV set 5 times.

Yes, i have to agreed the shop give me a very good price.
It is RM33xx with free gift w/ 3 yrs warranty or RM35xx with free gifts w/ 5 yrs warranty.

Anyway, i hv call up the shop and the first time he told me it is 100% new but promise he will check with his HQ.
The second time he call, i told him i manage to get in the service manual and told him about the time n count.
Quickly he told me he not sure what the HQ have done and he will call to ask his big boss.

Lastly, today he call and say he agreed to change a new set for me and meanwhile ask me to use this set first.
I will update the status here when i got the new one.

Thanks for everyone help...btw this plasma is really good n i like it very much!

Hi Guys and Sifus,

I'm a newbie in lowyat.net and have been following this forum with keen interest. I'm considering to get this latest Panasonic plasma but not sure what size will be suitable for my living room. Viewing distance approximately 8 to 9 ft. Hoping that sifus here can help me out.

Also, where can I get the best deals for both the 42" and the 50"? Went to Legend yesterday and their best price is RM3500 cash for the 42" and RM5500 cash for the 50". Tried to bargain but they wouldn't budge. I guess they have limited units left in stock.

The distance n size is based on your personal taste.. just stand 8-9feet from the 50inch demo tv n play it with some action movies and see if u like it or not... sitting too close might make u wanna vomit.. i have not tried a 50inch.. but i did try sitting too close to a big projector screen n i nearly vomited .. anyway for 720p it is recommend to sit at least 1.5 times the width and 1.2 times the width for 1080p if not pixelation and artifacts will become more visibly intrusive...

Does it mean...it cannot be fixed? even though you tighten up the screws? is this because of molding issue or what..?

BTW, Panasonic SC came to my house.... tighten up the screws again! Sound still ada! Main2 with the sound menu... still ada...I asked him...anybody else facing the same issue? the answer is YES! For this newly release model. He said the model he attended was 50" one. So how to fix this?? no answer given...  sad.gif . He just said...if the sound..rattle louder... call them again! How many time should I call??  mad.gif Haiyaa...!!!

Lastly, he gave me a suggestion.... use Home theater...!!! cry.gif

i got 2 units of Samsung LA40R81BM lcd ... both also rattling when the volume is turned up to average loudness.. nvr bother to call the seller .. my guess is these slim speakers just look good but unable to handle mid n lower freq

thks htkaki~ so this x10's official warranty is 3-yr; if i'm not mistaken i did see a buyer mentioned he get 5-yr warranty for the set, is that mean the additional "2-yr warranty" is covered by the shop rather frm panasonic?  thks~

bro i think last time i saw pv80 5 years warranty on pana website those are from pana.. if the 2 years are from chinaman shop then i will be worried.. but if from harvey norman i think nothing to be worried abt
