Haven't bought a MAS ticket in a while, just only realized that KNN, they now charge money for seat selection (full service airline ftw).

You guys nowadays buy MAS do you bother paying for the seat or just leave it be and select seats during check-in?

Select during check in.......and it is free but depends on its availability....

if alone then i don mind select during check in la..but if u going with your family, better to buy first lo

Call their customer service to change..But do note it comes with a fee.

Actually i log a request on their website, and they replied me once with email, yea just once, they require the passport copy to proceed for name changing, but after thn they never response for few days even i asked for update. Just contact them in facebook asking for my ticket status and they ask me to contact call center lol. Whats the pts asking for my passport copy in the 1st hand.

MAS online check in very unrealiable. Sometimes can and sometimes cannot.

If u wanna go Europe, MAS A380, the entertainment system , many of them rosak one. Qatar Airways much better.

GO to klsentral MAS customer service centre.

check your booking info if you have your flight book but arrange your seat in separately transaction

MAS had migrated their reservation system sometimes back. However they fail to migrate the seat booking. Tried web check in, yesterday and our confirmed (paid) seat, is no longer available for us and everyone get some random seat instead.

Discussed with MAS support over the phone but nothing much can be done but to try our luck with the check in counter.

just an update, MAS has received its first A350, new fleet and got 1st class too

No point using new aircraft but serving crap food in economy class

Even AirAsia serves better quality and tastier food than MAS

Just took a MAS regional flight. Main course - Nasi Briyani - was good. Just a larger serving of main course and a packet of peanuts. No more chocolates and bisquit. Much prefer it this way. Less items but higher quality main course.
