Yup

Bachelor of Business (Honours) - Caulfield
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) - Clayton
Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Honours) - Sunway, Berwick, Gippsland, Peninsula, South Africa

Caulfield and Clayton need 70% minimum just to apply.
The rest, ada $, ada place ;D

There are also scholarships available. Its quite easy to get em at sunway (from what i've heard). My gf's sis got one full summore ;D

my parents are hinting to me that i ought to reconsider another year (or so) in honours or masters.

of course i'm more inclined to honours since it is more prestigious and shorter in duration.

the 70% average is applicable to the major that your interested in; taking an average of your major's second and third year level units. for example, if you are up for a finance honour programme, your second and third year level, financed based units have to make up an average of at least 70% to be eligible.

this one, i'm pretty sure.

What do you mean by that? Tutors? You can contact them via their emails if you want to see them. Or just pop by their office and check out their consultation hours.

If you mean like you want extra tuition, I don't know if there are ppl in sunway who do it. There are plenty in caulfield and clayton though.

Like all those 3rd and 4th year students or masters students do give out private tuition for like $15-30 per hour depending on their qualification.
Even those high scorers like those who get 90+ for all their papers, they do give out tuition. I'm planning to do that next semester if I get another string of HDs again xD

save some money and start mingling with a new click in sunway. from there indulge yourself in group discussions and attempt to work on past years/tutorials.

Anyway, my mum asking me to do another year of study too. To be eligible for 2 years 60 point for pr thingie.

I noticed that monash business and commerce degree doesn't come with honours. Would that devalue the student's cert? Without doing 1 year of honours, would u still get things like first class honours, second class upper in your cert? I have seen recruitment ads stating minimum requirement of second class upper, without an honours would that place me in a lower position than those who did uk twinning programme? (UK degrees always come with honours)

This is because the Australian and the UK definition of honors is totally different.

In the Australian system, the extra honors year is not something that you can just go and enroll in, but is something that is offered to you only by invitation depending on how well you do in your undergrad years (usually the 2nd and 3rd year are taken into account).

Exactly.

khai, for a better understanding, Azarimy did a "Did you know?" thread on this issue.

Honours from Aus/NZ and Honours from UK

Its concise and informative wink.gif

BIO.. tongue.gif
a transfer student in first semester....
still blurr in monash... sad.gif
hopefully could catch up soon...

anyway bachelor of science(biotechnology) can study the final year at gippsland izzit?
is this the same as intercampus student exchange program and need to meet the requirement of average 70%?

i am taking food science currently and to my horror i found out food science is not transferable to Australia campus.
now i am thinking should i change my major to biotech instead.... sad.gif

if the job scope is same for food science and biotech, i might as well change my major.
so i could go to australia... tongue.gif
