abt the dashboard, this saturday im going to go to my sis's bf's friend's halfcut, at puchong i think? gona go have a look at whats interesting to start with hehe!

after proper calculation, i think i will allocate 5-6k to revive this project kancil, which i will pretty much use for my daily work-home driving...n my sis's bf who has been a kancil enthusiasist, doesnt recommend me to go turbo as it hurts as much as it is giving me fun haha...

he suggested me to go for the 850 MT transplant, n play around with the chasis n deco for a start.. but rili, i always wished to have a turbo-charged car haha...

n for some reasons, i have a cheap repaint offer, around rm600-700 only which is a good deal to my budget.. L5 bodykit is so nice, but so effin expensive as i checked online...damn nya...

btw, this is my project car... what ive done so far? change engine oil, change new tires, and stick a chelsea sticker at the back LOL...

this car wont help me to dig chicks yet...so ill slowly turn into new leaf ^^;;

don't so fast go buy the dashboard 1st...in case u really getting a half-cut(L2/L5)...try real real hard on the Half-cut,try every function,check whether is the Check Light on or not,look for coolant in radiator,check leakage,check turbo condition,check for LSD ,the only prb is u can't get the Transmission tested...
for L2/s transplant 5-6k is quite enough d...transplant an EJ-DE(kelisa/kenari 1.0 engine) will cost a bomb also...higher then u transplant L2/s...some ur 660cc chassis can't go for 1000cc...for JPJ...except u put many many $$ under the table...lolz
but it's real fun to transplant EJ-DE,LightWeight High Power N/A rockz!(but i'm using a Turbo,selfish )
What for u go transplant 850 MT? if really transplant tht engine,i rather remain 660cc...
if u really scare the maintainance,go for L2S...L5,beside the maintainance is higher,the engine parts also hard to find...
RM600-700 is really CHEAP man! go for it!!! *advice* if u'r really planning to transplant engine...do it,before ur car get sprayed...
YA! L502 bodykit is really really nice!but since it's illegal on the road...so i'm still using Perodua Bumper...LOL(Kepong many JPJ block la recently!)

well..firstly welcome to the club bro...kancil do rocks man...

for L2s maintainance...as long u leave it as stock as possible...its not a major problem for u...but once u start modding da engine then its a diff story...depends on how much modifications u done on ur engine..da maintainence cost varies...

if u wan hassle free transplant...go for L2s halfcut...spare parts r laying around everywhere in da halfcut shops coz L2s engine shares almost da same parts wif our good-old-stock carb 660/850cc engine...

if u r looking for more power than u can go for L502 halfcut...but bare in mind spare parts for thiz engine is hard 2 come by n if hav also its gonna cost u a bomb...

it all depends what u wan n how deep is ur pockets...u can choose 2 play wif L2s bodykits if u wanna improve ur exterior but bare in mind also dat L2s bodykits r quite expensive...juz da front bumper will cost u 350-400...

i hav calculated myself for the transplant cost of L2s..it roughly cost around 7k which includes the halfcut,replace tear n wear parts,better suspension,sport rims n labour charge for transplant,L2s seats...

yes....who say turbo charge engine give u headache???????

i have a customer age 50+ request to trasplant to L5 before....not because of it is turbo-charge..simple because he hate driving CARB n always travel penang-KL...after finish trasplant with AT g.box..he stop by workshop say "peeerghhh mcm bawak kereta besar sedap die....smooothh jer" the key is to maintain your car and know the limits...even with standard super produa rawang spec..no maintain no limit also kondem...i guess u can read in V1 they (if there is) or other forum for what "spesis and penyakit and durable" this super unique small block fighter.


FYI : any kind of MIRA bodypart is illegal to use..doesnt matter L2/L5..go puspakom for confirmation..thats y when endorse..all bodypart stended...unless u are lucky leee...

as far as i noe..there isnt much choice of small capacity supercharged engine for kancil..maybe there is but i dunno about it..haha..

but all i noe is NS Performance in shah alam has done a transplant on a kancil which has a EJ-DE engine in it n they threw in a supercharger into dat car...

how do u L5,L2 extensive exterior modifications lepas from JPJ....all the time? =.=

the highest range i hit is 17km/l,where i run 400km with about 23.5liter esso regular, but i only reach it once, normally is between 14.5 and 16.
