oh...yours is 3piston type...3piston torque is higher then 4piston!
3piston 10.7kg-m/4000rpm
4piston 10.2kg-m/4000rpm

ur tranny is AT? or u mean ur MT gear ratio is way too high? tongue.gif

actually engine is totally same with L2,but intake manifold,wiring,intercooler,gear ratio is different only...

the J is the width of the rim...exp,normally 15" is 6J/6.5J...u can put 185 or 195 tires...
some rims are 15" 7J,so u can put 205/215 tires...

L5 front body parts need to combine L5 fender and 1st batch kancil's fender...
normally 1st batch kancil mod in L2 mordeno,then put L5 morderno number plate,use L5 bumper...
correct me if i'm wrong! blink.gif

for me i prefer L2 moderno more...smile.gif
but currently i'm running with stock bumper,except the Hood...

Here i Upload the pics of changing brake fluid and brake pump. Using DOT4 though. That time still stock exhaust hahha and engine haven been transplanted yet. Then after that an engine to be transplanted. Bumper are removed. I lost some of the transplanted photos. Then comes to the modding of springs. I fitted the L2 twin disc rotor in front with Endless Type S brake pads for the car.

a) monroe radial-matic (blue in colour) - some ppl say its too soft therefore very dangerous when cornering compare to the original oem ones.

b) KYB - if i am not mistaken our ori kancil abs are from KYB rite? are there any better ones within the same brand to fit into out kancil?

c) GAB SA series - heard its good to fit on k-car but ppl's comment are its ride are hard therefore will be more bumpy compare the the ori ones.

Hope all the sifu's out there can help me out on my woes. i dont plan to change car as i like my kancil ride which are fuel efficient. and its in damn good contition as for the engine and other parts except for the above mention problem hehe  smile.gif

Q2-A2,as nixZorus said,u should take to Wiring specialist...maybe cost more,but at least ur prb solved...
Q3-A3,depends on ur needs...Comfort ride,u can go back for OEM,Sporty ride,KYB SR SPECIAL is not back also!!!

mine is front oil,rear gas(because KYB front don't have gas shock)
rear gas n oil won't have too much diff la...just when over bump the car is more bumpy...

btw, to u pros out there, i wana ask this kancil engine, idk why lah..everytime i do a fresh start(morning specially) i shift gear to 'D', it takes like 1-2 mins before it could move...or after the car is left for more than 3-4 hrs, this thing happened, like the engine duwan go, or fuel dowan inject..it annoys not jz me, other drivers too(when they wan enter my parking slot) why ah?

so, i am seriously thinking to play with this kancil, wan feel turbo haha..10k is enuf to revive an old 660c into a nice-to-drive-kancil?i don mind the HP, as long as can 'go' ...good d hehehe...somore my corolla is sucking alot of my money with the maintenance d pfft!

try replace fuel filter see how,since it only coz u 10bucks plus...
10k u can put ur Mousedeer to dragster d...XD
around 5k also enough d...(Half-cut+labour+maintainance parts) L2/s half-cut is around 2k++,eventhought L5 also 3k++ only... thumbup.gif
my fuel compsumtion now is RM30 can go 280KM for highway drivin,if every jam+rev abit,can got 220-250KM...
my 2cents...

don't so fast go buy the dashboard 1st...in case u really getting a half-cut(L2/L5)...try real real hard on the Half-cut,try every function,check whether is the Check Light on or not,look for coolant in radiator,check leakage,check turbo condition,check for LSD tongue.gif ,the only prb is u can't get the Transmission tested... sad.gif
for L2/s transplant 5-6k is quite enough d...transplant an EJ-DE(kelisa/kenari 1.0 engine) will cost a bomb also...higher then u transplant L2/s...some ur 660cc chassis can't go for 1000cc...for JPJ...except u put many many $$ under the table...lolz
but it's real fun to transplant EJ-DE,LightWeight High Power N/A rockz!(but i'm using a Turbo,selfish tongue.gif )
What for u go transplant 850 MT? sweat.gif if really transplant tht engine,i rather remain 660cc...
if u really scare the maintainance,go for L2S...L5,beside the maintainance is higher,the engine parts also hard to find...
RM600-700 is really CHEAP man! go for it!!! *advice* if u'r really planning to transplant engine...do it,before ur car get sprayed...
YA! L502 bodykit is really really nice!but since it's illegal on the road...so i'm still using Perodua Bumper...LOL(Kepong many JPJ block la recently!)
