playing online last night...dang hard especially that f***** blanka user...

how to defeat that playing style...

must trained harder....

do you normally concentrate on 1 character or practice on few characters for character setup?

btw i got some anti air problem? how to practice ah? i really hate it when the fellar kept on jumping back n forth and messing up my rhythm >.<

Although for AAs it's mostly just practise and experience. Gotta know your range.

If you're using someone with a dragon punch motion for the AA, remember you can walk forward > AA easily, which can add quite a bit of range.

i'm using guile. i can't really do anything when he is exactly on top of me can i?
most of the time i'll get chip my life away by some nasty combo
btw how come there is so much difference on learning curve on each character
i know waht i am i suppose to do. but during a fight i panic and the combo normally doesn't come out or late
no problem fighting CPU or practice =.=

btw do u all uses a fightstick or normal controller?

I prefer arcade stick, but controller also can.

If they're right on top of you? Guile crouching HP. If too late for that, focus attack > absorb > dash away.

Playing people is very different from playing CPU so don't worry about it. You'll get used to it.

Guile's pretty easy to pick up I think. He just deals relatively low damage, so it can be a while before you win with him.

i remember reading from SRK that Guile's Sonic Boom is the weakest projectile move in the game.

With regards of the panic, you'd be surprise to noe that many tournament players work so well when their playing casually. but when they are in the tournament, they resort to the most basic combos possible. Its only a matter of how good you can tell yourself that what you are playing, is just like practice. And that's the first step to overcoming that panic.

Is it just me, or is Streamyx disconnecting every 3 minutes or so?

Well, I'm back online for good, at least for the past 5 minutes or so.

Anyway durian: if you're having trouble hitting combos against other people, try simpler combos. Things that you don't really have to worry about.

Quite a lot of it is muscle memory, and more importantly, recollection of it in a pressure situation. If you find that you can't do a combo during matches, you might want to drop that combo in the meantime and stick to simpler stuff, stuff that you KNOW will hit.

This is why I don't do Balrog EX Upper loops.

Interesting thing I noticed today: my execution is better on the 2P side than the 1P side.

Good games. It's ok, I consider that a draw so I quit game but I was lucky. You almost won my Ryu. I didn't really notice which side you are better but I just play my strats against Balrog.

sifus.....how to do HP + Hadoken Combo huh?.....kinda hard to connect those two together.....always after do the HP it will pause a moment then can do Hadoken....so the link is broken alrd......

ya ....phyurix is good at abel ..play with him yesterday .....

i got whacked by Darkstalker's cammy yesterday. so sad. din even touch him much. =_=

for ryu, i can only do LP shoryuken + super. cant seem to get the ultra one. tried HP shoryuken + ex dash + ultra , but always end up doing focus attack instead of focus cancel. and when finally did the dash, jadi another shoryuken =_=

Practice more on it. The more you practice, the more accurate you can do it.
