Luthaine, i restore through itunes.

about the 4.0 and 5.0
ok, last time in Firmware 2.2.1, i install custom maxis logo through HERE

by updating to firmware 3.0, the maxis carrier detect it Maxis 5.0 so u cant get MMS setting.

SO to get the MMS,

I just need to restore it back to original. So i restore it through itunes button...

to know ur maxis carrier.
Tap on Setting --General -- About

Look under carrier.. either Maxis 4.0 or Maxis 5.0

Peace.. correct me guys if i wrong.. icon_rolleyes.gif

bro, if you send mms, let say if you send 3 times, all those 3 mms you send succesfully send to the other person? or you have to try 2 or 3 times in order to send it because the mms cannot be send, i sometimes need 2 or 3 times to send 1 mms because always failed. sad.gif

Played the MMS-sending game between Neekun and myself. I now have a very nice tiger-stripe wallpaper(RAWR!) and Neekun has a sneak peek at Superman's weird brother, Bizarro. The MMS sending timeframe is very fast, I treat it like sending SMS already.

Who wants to test MMS sending, you're welcomed to use me. tongue.gif

Am tethering from my iPhone but via USB and through my MBP.  Doesn't seem too difficult on a Mac but I still don't know how to get it to work via a Windows machine.  Any help on this matter would be appreciated biggrin.gif

not sure if this has been answered yet...
but...
to connect a windows machine...
juz enable the tethering via usb...then connect the cable to the pc...
windows will recognize the device and create a connection for it... =)

I just upgrade my Iphone sofeware to Ver 3.0 this morning, and discover that the MMS only working under Maxis. I've try to insert a Celcom Sim Card and found out that the Camera Icon on the SMS doesn't appear, so I search the net for MMS configuration, after key in the setting, the Camera Icon appear on the SMS, but failure to send. I've try so many time to re-send the MMS, but fail.

My friend using Digi also encounter the same problem, the Camera Icon doesn't appear.

Anybody know how to configure?

Bro, i followed your guide to make the tethering work but it failed. I managed to updated my maxis iphone 3g to OS3.0 this morning.

Another problem is my iphone jas can't fully charged although i plug-in more than 2 hours. It never happened with OS 2.2.1 before.

You guys who are trying out the mobileconfig and IPCC, note that it won't work on the iPhone 2G (1st-gen), i.e. the MMS settings and tether will not show up in Settings.

@TakanoKyohei,
stringfellow's on Celcom and neekun's on DiGi.

I'm on Maxis and I've no problems sending MMS. As stringfellow has reported, sending of MMS is as quick as SMS biggrin.gif

Back to the mobileconfig & IPCC stuff - since my tethering is oredi working on the MBP, I think I shouldn't mess with the configs just to get Vista to work, rite?!
