I foresee options for non-supported carriers to be provided by the community itself, for example, someone "rajin" enough to tinker with the IPCC carrier file and modify it according to the carriers they need. I'm too bloody lazy to do that. I don't see Celcom getting off their comfortable arses to do anything that does not says as "supported" inside their list of supported devices for their MMS. Plus, it deters people from using their MMS service to the point of overcongestion.

I tried creating an IPCC file for Celcom based off the Maxis one, couldn't get it to appear. I couldn't see anything specific that would enable it in the file, plus when you search google and twitter about it, everyone is just pointing to, here download the file instead of discussing the file format.

Here you go for tethering on Celcom. Suprisingly easy to create. I used the settings from SG telcos on http://help.benm.at/help.php.

To get this on your phone, you either need to click the link using MobileSafari or email it to yourself and open it in Mail.app on the phone.

I tested this and can tether over USB and Bluetooth.

Digi user that successfully got their tethering working face mms problem or not ?Due to APN: diginet from mobileconfig it automatically changes the MMS APN to da same with tethering and when i changed it back to digimms and on Tethering it will automatically disappear and no more tether menu.

There is the ability to set different APNs for each particular function the mobileconfig file if i'm not mistaken according to this link http://www.erodov.com/forums/mms-tethering...1544-page2.html .. need to find an example mobileconfig from a telco that has similar setup as well to see how they configure it.

You guys who are trying out the mobileconfig and IPCC, note that it won't work on the iPhone 2G (1st-gen), i.e. the MMS settings and tether will not show up in Settings.
