now what's this crap on Scholes?
not to say we don't take players' critism openly, but to say he cheated, and backstabbed is not appropriate. instant reflection or not, he didn't get away with it, so it wasn't cheating to start with. and about the way you said how scholes back-tracked and tackled, yes, indeed sometime his tackles wasn't timed perfectly, but that's football mate. u win some, and u lose some. if it was a foul, he get carded. if he got away with it, well too bad, that's bad refereering then. what would you have expected him to do when he lost the ball? just stood there and watched? come on. be sensible here.

Ignore the bitter City fan. Spent millions and will still win feck all. Struggled to get past a mediocre Aalborg in the UEFA Cup despite holding a two goal advantage. And the nerve of trying to sign Kaka! That was funny shite. Robinho looks disinterested and must have 2nd thoughts about his future at the club in the back of his head.

He can criticise Scholesy all he wants, fact is, our Ginger Prince would look a better footballer in his 40s compared to the midfield they currently have.

Added on March 24, 2009, 9:17 amIf Scholes could tackle, he'd be too perfect. That'd be cheating.

Well, even if he is really injured it might not be for 2 weeks as stated by the medical team. They just want to rule him out for the coming midweek international game for the sake of it? laugh.gif

Just read that SAF has the option to move the Aston Villa match to Sat so that we can have more time for Porto. But, he decided to stick with Sunday kick off. hmm.gif May be want the players to react to Liverpool result. Or, may want the players to have more rest time after the international games. Anderson, Tevez and Park will be travelling far.

Scholesy doesn't fit Rafa's criteria of buying several mediocre players. Scholes doesn't fall into the mediocre category. So what will Rafa moan about then when he gets an excellent player??

Next thing you know Rafa will go on about new fahcts how Sir Alex is depriving him of the privilege of moaning.

it's just a matter of time before we get back in shape. icon_rolleyes.gif

No player should be assessed on just one match, and certainly not someone like Scholes.

Get your facts right and proven before accusing Paul Scholes a cheat and a backstabber.Without him at least we wont even qualify for the last Champions League final.

I don think it's fair that you leave Che out as well, we all know they tend to fight until the end. And I also highlighted the potential banana skins for both teams as well and seems ours one is more  sweat.gif

That doesn't mean the rest of our opponent is easy fixtures though, I only highlighted the higher risk one

Hey, wanna ask why tottenham fans also sing "Glory glory Man Utd", except they change "Man Utd" to Tottenham Hotspur....it sounds weird but true..

Why don't they just make their own song?

actually,we were the ones who copied from them..they invented it first..
taken from wiki:
Glory Glory Man United is a football chant sung by the fans of the football (soccer) club Manchester United to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. In the 1980's Manchester United fans adapted the wording of Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur, who had been using the chant since the early 1960's..
