Yes, we were slow today. The packed fixtures is starting to get us. That is all. Liverpool also had bad days but today its ours. On the end of the day, its the trophy in the cabinet that counts.

I hope this will be a GOOD WAKE UP CALL to the team.

We've been too comfortable..

But it's ok. I would rather have the team defeated to Liverpool 1-4 today and still win the BPL... but then.. of course.. local pride is tainted for sure. Still painful though

Yep...it doesnt matter to who we lose to or how much we lose. What's matter as I've said, is the trophy/ies in the cabinet that matter.

With all the posts regarding the Malaysian League, I thought I was in the wrong thread tongue.gif. Well, at least it made the war of words die down.

The turning point of the match for me was when Ferdinand passed back to O Shea and conceded a corner. Whatever happened the the old adage 'Clear first, talk later.' I am never for the idea when it comes to playing 'within' your own penalty box and it's been a shitty week for the defenders. As much as Ferguson rotated the midfield and attack, I think the defense (bar Evans) is feeling the tired legs and mind. O Shea and Evra have not been rested since Wembley nor has Ferdinand been rested. We bloody need Neville and Brown back!

maybe should let fabio a try for replace evra!Let evra some rest!Maybe fabio can score goals for us too! smile.gif

Yeah. The defense looked super tired. Their reflexes were really slow. Evra's speed was also nowhere to be seen. Ronaldo should have a rest too.I feel that they are just physically & mentally tired. I feel pity of them but that's the price that they have to pay for glory. What we as fans should do is just stick by them through thick & thin & support them all the way to the pinnacle.

fulham deserved it. they were great. great result! woho

Yes Fulham may have deserved it. Yes they were great. But the way that you're putting it in made me feel resentful of pool fans when I never did ever feel that way before. Its fans like duke & fyrekat who made me still have respect for Liverpool fans in general. Please remember which thread you are in next time.

Ive been reading through some of the comments here and while it seems that the general view has changed ; when we win,MU=GOD and when we lose MU,Fergie etc etc= SUCKS , I noticed some weird excuses and reasons.

I dont think there should be an issue of tired legs or fatigue because we had a week off since last weeks terrible result.

The reason we lost is plain and simple ; Fergie got the line-up wrong.
As brilliant as he is,he's only human and thus is capable of making mistakes just like everyone of us.

Ive said this before, and i think it was proven yet again : Berba cannot play alone and have us dominate a game.
Ive been a big Berba fan since his Leverkusen days, but i feel his style isn't  suitable for the formation yesterday (despite it being 4-4-2,it seems more like a 4-4-1-1).

We're just going through a bad spell. Things should pick up soon after Fergie gives the hairdryer treatment x 5 to the boys biggrin.gif

Yep..the match started with heavy rain & in the 2nd half it seemed that there are slight rays of sunshine but then Tevez came in & it all went cloudy again. Not to blame Tevez, but its the change of positioning & formation that costs us the game.

Get your facts right and proven before accusing Paul Scholes a cheat and a backstabber.Without him at least we wont even qualify for the last Champions League final.

If Becks does play against Man Utd, I'm sure it would be an emotional moment for him. Heck. Even for the fans.
