QUOTE(synchun @ Apr 9 2009, 01:21 AM)
i own an iPhone 2G for about a year now and the home button(is also the only button) is not working perfectly.
i had to gather my thumb's every strength and push the damn home button HARDER in order for it to work.
i went to Sunway Pyramid today and explained my problems to a random repair guy.
he told me there's a need to change the whole bottom due to some interior chips are out
and because of that, i believe the speaker thingy is somehow connected to the home button and thus, the repair guy is charging me RM300~RM400 for that.
i have nowhere else to go but here, this forum
is there any possibility i could get some help from this forum?
maybe some repair guy out there could charge me cheaper =P

Hi, this is my first time sync-ing my iphone to the apps tab. I already have alot of apps before I sync the apps. So, what happen if I sync the apps tab now? Will it just copy what ever that is on the tab and deletes everything else which is not inside? Sorry and thanks!

if you have purchased those apps legitimately, you can re-download them again for free (even though they have been "deleted" during your first sychronisation).

what you have specified above, earlier, is just really the worst case scenario. AFAIK iTunes is a brilliant software and it will definitely make all the necessary "adjustments" to your needs.

Anyone here uses MobileLog? If I receive a call and want to save the number into my contacts, how can I do it? I can't seem to find the option?

Can some of you share what is your available free memory normally? Previously when I just got my phone, my available is always 50-60MB free on a fresh restart. Currently I only have around 30-40MB. I'm not sure which application is taking it up sad.gif

I got this "free memory" information from SBSettings (latest version).

So long as the iPhone is OFFICIALLY UNLOCKED, there is no difference in terms of functions/features between those and that of Maxis. The only advantage is you get local warranty as opposed to the units bought overseas.

Hi all,

I am using an unlocked 8G 3G Iphone and discovered I was charged RM206.20 for data charges when I didn`t download anything. In the month of March 21,855KB worth of data was charged and I don't know what application is downloading data. The previous month, I was hit with a RM20 data charge which I thought was due to me accidentally accessing something. This month's bill is a shocker and I don't want to be hit with another bill next month. Can someone help, please?

quick news. iTunes 8.1.1 is now out!

a short description of the update (extracted from the apple website)

"iTunes 8.1 is now faster and more responsive. You will enjoy noticeable improvements when working with large libraries, browsing the iTunes Store, preparing to sync with iPod or iPhone, and optimizing photos for syncing. In addition, iTunes 8.1 provides many other improvements and bug fixes, including:

Supports syncing with iPod shuffle (3rd generation)
Allows friends to request songs for iTunes DJ
Adds Genius sidebar for your Movies and TV Shows
Improves performance when downloading iTunes Plus songs
Provides AutoFill for manually managed iPods
Allows CDs to be imported at the same sound quality as iTunes Plus
Includes many accessibility improvements
Allows iTunes U and the iTunes Store to be disabled separately using Parental Controls

iTunes 8.1.1 adds support for renting HD movies and provides a number of bug fixes, including addressing issues with VoiceOver and syncing with iPhone or iPod touch. "

You can try "MobileLog" but beware as installing it would result in your Skype not being able to work correctly even with the latest mobile substrate smile.gif
