i'm getting sick of seeing so many forumers getting scammed by unscrupulous iTunes gift certificate sellers. hence i wanna provide a community service for the iPhone sub-forum here. i have nothing to gain from this (to prove that, please read further)
i'm currently in australia and i can help you
(using my discretion on whom i wanna help, as i don't want tedious/unreasonable buyers demanding this and that from me) to purchase
australian based iTunes gift cards. i will only purchase the
actual, physical cards from the
apple store in chadstone. these cards start from AUD$15 onwards and have the standard denominations.
hence there will be no way, of claiming any of sorts of fraud/misrepresentation. buyers will get a scanned copy of the actual card, in which i will then e-mail it to them thereafter. i will also be keeping both the receipt and the card as proof of purchase for future references.
now, whilst all of the above sounds great and fool-proof, i do have some personal requirements for you to fulfill.
1. i typically patronise chadstone during weekends and hence you will have be a little patient. however under special circumstances, i may go to chadstone on weekdays as well.
2. i will be using my malaysian credit card (direct access by CIMB) to purchase these cards. therefore, what you will be paying me, is essentially what direct access is charging me (in accordance to their published exchange rate on the transaction day).
unfortunately, you will just have to trust me regarding this matter when i quote you the final price in malaysian ringgit.3. on top of the final price, there is an additional rm2 to reimburse my transportation (in reality it cost way more than rm2)
4. prospective buyers are to deposit the money into my maybank account or even better, pay off the total on my credit card (using cimb online or via the teller machine)
5. i may require a small deposit if i have not met you before in person or unfamiliar with.
of course, this is a massive leap for a lot of the people out there, who is used to, pay rm50 for a USD$50 iTunes gift certificate. however, reality is ultimately reality and therefore the final choice is essentially up to you (where you prefer to play hide and seek with apple before they suspend your account)
