yeah, i tried that. And also the same problem happens. THe album art totally blacks out

I've had album art come up completely blank (blacked-out) or sometimes partially blank. It was always with songs that I purchased directly on the iphone. The image would display fine until I synced it with itunes. In order to fix it, I had to delete the album art in itunes, sync the iphone to clear out the image (displays the music note), download the album art again, and sync the iphone again. The album art for those songs have displayed fine since.

Corrupt ID3 tags. I had this same issue. Here's what you do:

1) Select the entire effected album.

2) Right click and choose "Convert ID3 Tags..."

3) Check the box next to the popup, leaving the first option (None) selected.

This removes all ID3 tags from the songs, but retains the information.

4) Click Okay.

5) With the songs still selected, right click again and select "Convert ID3 Tags..." again.

6) This time, use the popup menu to select either V 2.3 or V2.4 tags.

7) Click Okay.

8) Add your artwork back to the files. It should stick now.

What happens is that the file ends up with either one set of corrupt ID3 tags or two sets of conflicting tags. Removing and replacing the tags clears out and resets everything. Works like a charm for me.

because this method will fix any artwork problem you have. Fixing my entire iPhone library as we speak.

what i did is, for every album/song i have, i searched for the album artwork via Google, one by one. yeah it might be a very troublesome task but there's no problem looking for them, even for old songs. (my whole music library is in English). trust me, Google is the best source. just make sure you did searched thoroughly.

guys ... need ur help.

I just installed Iphone tunnel suite 2.7 into my pc , and when i connect it to my iphone 3G,  my iphone shows that wifi is not connected, which means i cant get my IP address and i cant connect to my pc.

anyway, my phone is running on 2.2.1, is it due to this that i cant connect to my pc ?

i have tried switching on my ssh, wifi , 3G etc ... but still cant get the ip.

how am i goin 2 connect it ?

I tried the solution, but it needs me to restore. Does that mean i need to restore to the latest firmware? I'm using FW 2.2 now. And how about the data? Will i lose them?
