i have 1 more probs..
can i install BossPrefs from pc to my iphone?..
if can, how?..
i dont have wifi to connect with cydia..
and my credit flow like water..

I'm in aussie now and I took Optus for the sake of having the iphone (My iphone is unlocked now). If you can wait till next year (when I go back to malaysia), we might be able to work something out with the maxis plan. But of course like many business minded people I would want you to cover up more than just the cost of the iphone and advance payment. hahaha...

Is there any iTunes alternative? It seems that i cannot sync album art properly through iTunes... it either shows up half loaded on my device or just doesn't shows up.

is it really necessary to open a brand new thread each time one runs into such a trivial matter? on the other hand, if it was regarding a serious matter, i could totally understand.

anyway back to your issue. perhaps you could first make sure that the album art is actually present for each track (copy and paste the respective picture to the bottom left corner, manually or advance -> get album art)

once that is affirmative, unsynchronise and remove ALL the tracks inside your iPhone. you can now, add and synchronise all the desired tracks again.

maxis set.... for ringtone is it really need to buy from itune then oni can convert to ringtone??

just buy a new iphone from the garage sales la like that.

if u r using a singtel set, thr shud not be a prob to upgrade to 2.2.1...however u must be 100% sure tat it is a singtel/ otb unlocked set...
itunes will backup all ur data n it wud be restored back once da upgrade is complete...
ur 2nd issue...ringtones...
head here n use da software thr...
its da best for me n da easiest
u create ur ringtone n it will auto export 2 itunes...

my bro in-law just got an 8gb iphone from maxis.he's looking for a feature where u only need to swipe the screen to answer calls and unlock the phone without pressing the home button.is there such a feature?couldn't find in the phone's setting.any 3rd party apps for this function perhaps?

can anyone help me on my album art problem please?

You can try this:

i) In iTunes, select all mp3's and right click. Select "Get Info".
ii) Search Amazon.com for album cover. Right click on cover and save to desktop/folder or drag and drop the album cover to Artwork. Done

yeah, i tried that. And also the same problem happens. THe album art totally blacks out

what i did is, for every album/song i have, i searched for the album artwork via Google, one by one. yeah it might be a very troublesome task but there's no problem looking for them, even for old songs. (my whole music library is in English). trust me, Google is the best source. just make sure you did searched thoroughly.
