I've posted this in the Tips & Trick section but I just have to share this with you all. So enjoy.

Here's a tool that i would like to share with all of you. Its a tool that enable you to use SSH without wifi. It uses the USB cable for the connection. Great news for people with no wifi. This is for WINDOWS user only.

iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.6 BETA

Requirement:
• Open SSH installed through Installer or Cydia
• iPhone Tunnel Suite
• Latest version of. Net Framework

Functions:
• Connecting via SSH to an iPhone / iPod Touch, all without the need of WiFi and with the need of only USB cable.
• Client WinSCP integrated (included in the iPhone Tunnel Suite)
• Client Putty integrated (included in the iPhone Tunnel Suite)

Here's the guide on how to use it:

1. First, downloading it from here. http://www.makkiaweb.net/
2. Go ahead with the installation with the exe files:
3. Installation took place, then you can run the suite. Launch SSH in iPhone / iPod as well.
4. First time you run it, it will ask you to set up the Device Setting. You can set up to 3 devices.
5. Again on the first run, the program will close itself as if it just crash. Don't worry, open it up again.
6. Now with the new interface and function, you can make the phone as a wifi antenna.
7. Make sure the iTunnel status is started. If its not, click the iTunnel button on top to start the service. If it's not stated then you can't use WinSCP/PuTTY.
8. iConnect button/service is used to make the phone as a wifi antenna/tethering method.

One more easy method using usb to transfer file is using iPhonrbrowser..

Just google iphonebrowser and download it.. Its damn easy, all it needs is itunes to be installed cause it require itunes's dll files to run..

A very good tool, you can even load in your own ringtones thru the menu..

Sync is slow imho.. I prefer this method, fast and easy..

With itunes you need to tick and press sync.. That i just load it inside the folder walaa, kao tim..

but for some tasks like permissions, scp does come handy. before this iPhone PCSuite can also achieve this without SCP but it can't be done on my 2.0. dunno myb something wrong with my installation but hey Tunnel works perfectly.
or myb u can do it manually on Terminal.

I installed BSD Systems and OpenSSH but I couldn't see SSH icon on the Springboard. How do I enable it? I have also installed WinScp on the notebook. I entered the ip address from settings>wifi and username>root ; password> alpine but it says "Network error: Connection refused". Without using wifi i.e. via USB cable, I can connect easily.

Please help me to establish a connection using wifi. And why I can't see SSH on the homepage??

iPhone 1.1.4 version

There's no icon for SSH but you can use Bossprefs to toggle it on and off.

Ok. I agree that this method may work but could you please help me to configure WinSCP & iphone so that I can connect and transfer files wirelessly? Both are connected to Netgear router using streamyx broadband.

Thanks a lot for your time!
