lol i just choose whichever thats give me more performance and have a quiet fansink....those 2 are important when choosing graphic card IMO....and not to mention low idle wattage

haha...normal....diff pplz got diff preference... tats wat i said when i own 4670....after i own 9800gtx+ and 4850 GS...now i know which 1 suit me after tat...

i only own an ATI during the 9800pro days where it pwn nvidia big time in terms of performance...those were the days

ok, it not wrong to be ati fanboy, but the days of crying out loud better IQ has over.

dat only applies if u comparing wit nvidia 7 series which has a little bit of IQ degration.
but now, ATI & nvidia is both equal in terms of IQ.

not actually saying nVIDIA is not good, but still... prefer ATi, not because entirely i'm the ATi fanboy, but it's because it's the truth which is nVIDIA cannot give to me... the IQ still better looking on ATI... no seriously

anyway... another trial on 1000/4400, going to try on 1000/4800 tonight... after voltage bump to 1.40, fan speed 99%...

my 3DVantage score on HD4890 is less than 9000
and i cant edit anything in overdrive, everything's locked

im using catalyst 9.4
what seems to be the reason?

preset? mine on performance @14k lebih kurang...

P9000? H9000? or E9000?

yeap... P14000, err... will confirm tonight, but yeah... yesterday i ran... 14k... er is it 3DM06?

its only Vantage that have those preset.

This is the result I get before and after OCing the 4890 card and it's stable to. Bear in mind I'm not using the new CCC (means no new driver installed) cause later today I gonna be joining the Cyberfusion LAN Party and I don't want anything to go wrong at the very last moment.

P/s: I think I can do better OCing but there's no enough time and still doing research about how to tweak the voltage . Really glad if someone can OC it higher than this and post the result. Thanks~

EDIT: I'm not overclocking the proc yet, hence why the score is kinda low IMO.

Yes, I will drop everything back to stock setting.

I'm posting the result now because it's been almost 2 week since I bought and OCed the card. Later on Monday I will try to install the new driver and post the result later.

P/s: Waited for sooo long but they released the driver the night before the event starts.

I don't see P10923 as low but you are on Corei7 with x58 chipset. I got P10116 on mine but I didn't overclock the GPU.
