Highly doubt it. Even if they would release a cheaper mouse, it would be around the same price as the Krait or Salmosa now definitely. Heck, even the Salmosa smaller version cost roughly the same as well.

BTW, the Mamba official drivers are out on the Razer Support website..... which means there are Mamba's out there in the wild already tongue.gif

Hopefully Ban Leong or C-Zone gets them in fast tongue.gif I started a new job and I need my new mouse!!!!!!!

Finally some pictures. Can somebody confirm with me if this is normal please. The pictures is in 2048 x 1536 resolution I scale it down for upload purpose. Somehow in pictures it look slightly sharper and clearer but on hand it really does look faded. Thanks in advance.

wanna ask, is the dpi for the mouse set on its max without installing the driver? somehow im not used to the movement of the mouse with the driver installed. is there any other driver suitable for a razer mouse?

i got goliathus control as well. and ya its the same as yours. it looks faded, and old. to be honest, when i first get the mousepad, i thought it was a defect or something, but then realize its like that. really disappointed actually with the control edition. very poorly build, doesnt look like something from Razer, and not worth the price. Speed edition would be better, or QcK or Titan.

learn to explore properly.
there is a reason why the driver is there and not just for macros.
razer has something called on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment.

also go back to gaming basics 101 and set your windows pointer speed accordingly first.

Imo, it looks faded especially compared to Speed Edition due the weave its stitched closer?.. so printing will look.. err.. clearer?.. u know like big-pixels against small-pixels.. kinda deal... well.. thats what i think.. lol sweat.gif

easiest way is to look under the mouse, asia version only got 1 switch for dpi.
europe version got 2 switch for dpi and polling rate.

Just only noticed that my mouse acceleration in my Razer Lachesis config, the On word was glowing...

Im finding mousefeet for my DA oso...going to get worn out soon... >.< if u noticed, hyperglides sell the mousefeet exactly as the original one that comes with the DA...but Steel Series and Everglide doesnt... sad.gif but very hard to find someone who can bring in hyperglides....Jake Sean (bulked before) oso dun wan bulk d..too troublesome...lol...

About the acceleration thing...how to best config the razer mouse? turn off acceleration and then?

Well, abt mousefeets wears, if u can't get those mousefeets, imo the next best thing will be getting those Corepad Skatez or some of my friends did the cheap way.. which its.. stick cellophane tap on it.. blush.gif

Does anybody here uses the Razer Deathadder for the mac?
I find it much slower tracking compared to my Windows PC. All the settings are on Max (accept for acceleration) and it's still freakin' slow. I played around with the Acceleration, but too much and it's practically unusable and too little doesn't do any diff at all.
And it's not the hardware, because if I dual boot back into Windows, it works fine.
Any ideas on how to speed up my mouse?

u don't need to be exactly the same. the seller mentioned that u can just stick the mousefeet on it. which mean u can stick randomly under ur mouse.

not necessary to be fitted into the slot.

Yes, but somehow makes it looks kinda weird. I'm using it for about 1 month only now and the light is like when fading out, can see slight pause in the fading and blinking also. sweat.gif

warning to people who thinking of getting Destructor white special edition:
just got myself one, and the lift off distance is very very low for optical(i tried with my IMO 1.1), alright it might sounds good to some, but rmbr the mousefeet thingy.

my 1.1 feet worn out last time, so i put extra steel series feet ON the stock worn out stock feet. even at that lil bit extra height, it won't track perfectly. cursor jumps and sometimes wont track any movement. very frustrating even surfing internet, dont mention bout gaming.

solution: if feet worn out, must put feet into the socket and not ON the stock feet if wanna use this white destructor.

those are really good mouseskates. i'm using them for my imo and wmo now. way cheaper than hyperglides. haha.
depends on how high u wanna lift your mouse. for example, the bottom of the mouse maybe be scratch if the mouse is on a hardpad, so by getting thicker mouseskates it will lift the mouse high enough in order for it not to scratch the bottom of the mouse.

seriously there is no definite answer for your question here...as you can see ppl use all kinds of mouse to play dota with...

back to the basic,if u are a palm user get deathadder or maybe lachesis...claw user u can get copperhead,diamondback or krait...

for me im using deathaddder and basically i think that laser sensor mouse not that suitable for dota...unless u already familiar with it otherwise u will find laser sensor mouse very hard to use...

i'm used to be palm user, and i found out deathadder is way to big for me, abit discomfort actually, sigh. even my previous mouse a4tech x7 is big for me too.

Personally I think Blue LED will suit lycosa mirror.

cause lycosa backlight is blue. xD

well i dont set much basically...i max out all the dpi and polling rate...then i adjust the mouse sensitivity at the windows mouse setting there...works perfectly fine even though i take out to cyber cafe...

u can set any keys to any other u want....just working like macro i think..never try macro before..
btw with that u can show yr health bar 24 hour w/o pressing alt...

lol, there was a trick on youtube where you put the coin on the Alt button and you can keep playing while u see the health bars

Pros : See health bars
Cons : Everything you press on the keyboard will be combined with Alt, if you press F4... then you know what happens

so, i think the only thing you can do is try to press only when you need to or all the time

IIRC, WCG allows all gaming mouses except modified ones..

Is it faster if report to RazerSupport site first, then only to the distributor instead direct go to BanLeong..

hmm talking bout RMA, i tried 3 times of RMA-ing razer product.
First.
Bought this mouse from PcFair (BanLeong)
The RMA took me 1week and they give me a new mouse

2nd and 3rd.
Bought from shop. Exactly 1 Month. Both the same
And gave me back a new one also.

So, i am still supporting Razer and BanLeong for the good services. biggrin.gif

haha... just go back to the shop u bought... cos ban leong don entertain u, waste time ony, i went there b4 ady... just go to the place u bought, if they good then fast like me lor 5 days they replace a new 1 for me ady, if they slow then u wait for months... maybe.. depends la.. good luck.. biggrin.gif

You've got your point but in all the images posted in the forum and through the net it looks fine though. I was thinking that Razer should have another printing plate which suite the control edition therefore not creating any issue like this. Very disappointed with Goliathus Control Edition printing.

Is it even in terms of height? Mine the front button a bit going in and the back one is sticking out therefore creating a very unpleasant feeling when gripping the mouse especially the feeling on my thumb. Is this normal?

No. Never really did use the side button actually until today when I used it for one whole day then only I realize this problem. For the past weeks I never really did use the mouse as most of the time I'm not at home.

CHOI~!!! First of all the Goliathus case like what you said is not a problem it's just my own concern about the matter. Secondly my DA is working fine just that I am not quite comfortable with it only. Last but not least my Lycosa Mirror is still working fine rclxm9.gif (touchwood) sweat.gif Just my review and experience on the product that I own though.

really dont be misled by the control and speed hype.
the main difference basically is how smooth they feel, not how much control they offer.
i can even do pixel by pixel touchup no problem using speed.
its all in the hands anyway.

seems the keyboard is powered by usb.
but then there is 2 usb hubs.
so i wanna ask, if i connect the 2 usb hubs with other power sucking device such as two external 2.5 inch harddrives, will it be underpowered? is there an external power option?

I've tried reinstalling it few times. But still it can't be turn off, about other function like button config it can be used. Just that the light cant be turn off.

i have a question..
my 1 year old krait has a prob..
sometime i make a single click, it will do a double click.. and sometimes doesnt click at all.. only happen a few times in 20-30 clicks maybe..
i already reinstall the driver but still same issue..

is my krait going to 'die' or just something else?

No prob with the latest firmware here.

And abt the button, its normal, the button on the front protrude more due easier to reach for yer thumb since its further away.

So u have to adjust yer thumb to rest below the buttons.

still under warranty? if still got just send in and say got double-clicking issue

Not sure about the tarantula but my Lycossa even have problem powering up certain types of pendrive, not to say HDD. sad.gif

No it's not about the feeling it's the height level of the button. The front button is sunk in by 2mm compared with the back one creating an uneven surface when I place my thumb on it.

I don't think u wanna plug yer hdd in there, considering its usb1.1 speed.. dam freaking slow, unless u only transfer few kilobytes per-transfer tongue.gif

I don't even plug in my thumbdrives, as its dam freaking slow on my usb1.1 hub, the only thing i use the hub behind the keyboard its my gamepads.. lol... i kinda surprise ppl still use the usb1.1 hub even their rig its usb2.0.. sweat.gif... better get those external usb2.0 with power-adapter.

u can connect that 2 usb hubs but ur speed or process is gonna be slow due the power of the both usb hubs is ony powered till usb 1.1 and not 2.0... so it will be slower than normal usb at ur mobo, and there was no external power option to power it up cos it is built to ony that speed and power.. nod.gif

Hey guys i need your opinion on this, I've been using Krait for roughly 2 years now, loved it all the way. Now, the buttons are gradually "decomposing" you might say.

Anyways I've been wanting to get a new mouse from Razer again. The problem is which one to get. I want to give another mouse a try. I'm considering getting DeathAdder at the moment, so I want your review on it, for those who used a DeathAdder before. Also, what's the price for it at the moment?

it's because tarantula is the oldest design of razer keyboard. or i would say first generation? laugh.gif

lycosa is a newer design compare to tarantula. anyway, u could just get the battlelight instead. at least u'll get the similiar effect and feeling of a illuminated keyboard. tongue.gif

Really need to send for warranty? I did not bought it from a shop actually bought it from braindead_fr3ak from his previous bulk. Anyone else think I should send it back?

Bro SuBryN3 my problem right now even serious. The driver I installed is working fine but there isn't any arrow for me to open up the Advanced Option which means I cannot set any macro for my DA. Tried both v1.08 and v1.09 version even tried to do a complete uninstall with clean installation but still there isn't any button to click for the Advanced Option doh.gif

About the firmware currently written in the driver is v1.25 and the latest on the site is v1.27 which mean I should be able to update it.

lol...the battlelight i feel still abit too easy to turn around... sweat.gif but its okla..looks cool but doesn't really serve its purpose..cos only can illuminate the middle of the keyboard...even if turn it to the WASD place...oso cant really see unsure.gif but nvm la..still looks cool..haha

so u bought the OEM mouse from the bulk? no comment there.

how did u do a complete uninstall? did u remove the registry keys?

if still doesnt work, try putting the mouse into a fresh usb port, it should ask u to install drivers again cos its razer...
then see if the advanced option works or not.

Razer Destructor - best for Razer Lachesis

Self preference. As for me I choose base on the space available on my table. I think if you have the space then go for Omega since you can rotate around and recycle each and every part.

Yes Everdying I bought it from braindead_fr3ak's bulk sales. I remove every single files related included the registry key and even run CCleaner to clean up the rest before installing again. I will try your method but currently thinking to try at another PC maybe.

yea, actually that dock is for "battleeye" but it not selling everywhere, just some country ony, and the battle light they dunno why delay so long ony come out... but is still a cool things,
