in future will they produce such mouse?
btw i have a krait adi
*
Highly doubt it. Even if they would release a cheaper mouse, it would be around the same price as the Krait or Salmosa now definitely. Heck, even the Salmosa smaller version cost roughly the same as well.

i wanna ask about razer tarantula.
seems the keyboard is powered by usb.
but then there is 2 usb hubs.
so i wanna ask, if i connect the 2 usb hubs with other power sucking device such as two external 2.5 inch harddrives, will it be underpowered? is there an external power option?
*
Not sure about the tarantula but my Lycossa even have problem powering up certain types of pendrive, not to say HDD. sad.gif

i read some review yesterday or today, regarding the lycosa mirror, a lot lycosa got problem.. razer took back.... if wan source try google it about those news... so those whho bought the lycosa for that batch i think most of them got problem...  notworthy.gif
*
What problem are those? Guess Razer never learn regarding the Lycossa. Even the first batch of normal lycossa are filled with problems as well.

Guys, i am using Razer Lycossa and it seems they have a feature of disabling the Windows key in order to prevent it from going back to the desktop if accidentally pressed during gaming.

However, in my case, it is disabled as well even when not in gaming. Any idea how i could enable the key back? And just realise i could use the media key for Winamp on the Lycossa. Silly me for not looking at the settings tongue.gif

i think lycosa mirror should be more stable than the old lycosa...btw among all the stocks they have im sure there are those which are defected ones...im sure that there are alot people that dont have problem with their lycosa as well...

to those who have problem with it, ban leong offer a very good warranty service...fear not if u are unlucky to get a bad product...
*
Well, there are some people talking about problems on the first batch lycossa Mirror but there are people that face no problem, so i guess it depends on luck. For me, i got the first batch of Lycossa which has the led flickering problem (searched through a few sites and quite a lot people have the problem) and once warrantied, its ok until now smile.gif

Yeah, maybe i should test the KB 'kau kau' at the booth before i pay money for it huh.

I've PM akachester, he replied very fast.  thumbup.gif And he got a problem free Lycosa after replacing under warranty. (As he mentioned here as well)

Just to share with others who might interested
Razer admit their problem and ready for replacement
*
LOL..You might not get the problem after testing the keyboard. My problem only arise after 2 - 3 months of using smile.gif

How do you guys deal with the "peeling rubber" of the Razer mouse? I had a Krait for a few years already and the rubber of the left click are starting to peel off badly. Now, my few months old DB3G is also showing some sign of wear and tear already. Is the rubber parts that bad?

LOL...It doesnt look good anymore then tongue.gif Well, my DB3G are not in a bad condition yet. Just that you can see there are some parts that is starting to look shinny, as iff the rubber is thin at that part already..Damn, is there even any Razer mouse that doesn't use the same rubber material?

Btw Everdying, how do you strip that?

about half of it dissapeared from 2yrs of fps.
the rest i just slowly peel off normally.

the rubber on my boomslang seems to be much stronger tho.
*
LOL...Lucky i didnt have long nails. Else, it would peel so much faster. But they are serving me well though. My krait is about 4 years now while my DB3G is like almost 6 months old. I just hope the plastic last much longer. And talking about the DB3G, i cant seem to find the usage of the 4th and 5th button on both sides. What do you guys use it for normally?

krait came out barely 3yrs ago la.

It is? LOL..My bad then. I got it from Moderno during my study days and its been over 2 years now since i have been working, thus i thought it was almost 4 years ago tongue.gif Anyway, since i switched from normal mouse to the Krait, i had never looked back though tongue.gif I still remember when i open the package and there was a notice there saying something like once you use this, you will never look back. tongue.gif

What about Razer Diamondback 3g ? Anyone recommend that mouse? What is the different with krait?
*
I switched from Krait to DB3G and personally for me, the most notable difference is the size. I just like the DB3G more because i could get a bigger grip as compared to the Krait. Probably cause i have a big palm tongue.gif I don't game a lot so, sensitivity wise, i couldn't comment much. smile.gif

New Goliathus for me to replace my DKT. Pairing it with my DB3G now as my DKT is wearing out badly. smile.gif Speed edition. Not bad but should have gotten the Control Edition instead as i still like the friction on the DKT better. But this is the perfect size for me. The DKT is just too big while the Omega is just too small tongue.gif

thats not a DB3G...traitor! tongue.gif
anyway, from DKT to Goliathus is only just slightly smoother...u get used to it very fast...i just drop 1 sens in on-the-fly and it feels the same already.
but getting used to the feel of the control edition material...bah.
*
LOL...Was doing unpackaging at that point so just test it with my newly bought logitech mouse for my notebook as well tongue.gif

Now its with my DB3G. smile.gif Well, i was feeling the control edition at first as i thought of getting that version. But somehow, it just felt a tad rough as compared to my DKT. So, i opt for the Speed instead. But once i tested it at home, somehow, i like it to be slightly rougher for more precision i guess. Still, very nice pad when compared to the DKT. Just wondering how long will it take me before wearing out like the DKT tongue.gif

I believe i saw those small razer mouse for laptop as well (come in white, pink color) before at LYP. Probably those are optional choice beside the Salmosa Asia Edition if you wanted a small razer mouse tongue.gif
