Finally some pictures. Can somebody confirm with me if this is normal please. Somehow in pictures it look slightly sharper and clearer but on hand it really does look faded. Thanks in advance.
*
Imo, it looks faded especially compared to Speed Edition due the weave its stitched closer?.. so printing will look.. err.. clearer?.. u know like big-pixels against small-pixels.. kinda deal... well.. thats what i think.. lol sweat.gif

Aiyoz.. off topic liaoz you all...

eternity : u shld ask these question abt gaming keyboard in http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/798567/+1380 ..which its a dedicated gaming keyboard thread.

Btw, i gotta say... Razer shld lower their price in their Mamba considering M$ SideWinder X8 has basically the same features and cost only us$99.95 opposed to Mamba's us$129.99... abt rm111bucks difference.. this its madness! tongue.gif

By think of this.. Mamba so ex.. bcoz it has uber packaging... it looks like a displaycase man.. and the charging base so... stylo-milo... lol

Edited tongue.gif

why not logitech G9x  rclxms.gif

Well, imo it won't be in the same league as those two, considering it doesn't have the "wired / wireless" feature as its first of its kind.

Not to mentioned thats the main feature for upcoming gaming mice.

Yoz Razerians!, I was wondering abt Razer RMA procedures.

Is it faster if report to RazerSupport site first, then only to the distributor instead direct go to BanLeong..

QUOTE(gamers maniac @ Mar 9 2009, 10:41 PM)
got back my razer today after 2 month going RMA. but now i lost my trust with razer..
*
Did u send direct to BanLeong?.. or thru shop?.. *juz curious*

in case u been missing for awhile, there was a database crash a couple weeks ago.
so all updates was lost.
but ban leong IS the distributor.
tho seems now theres a stupid rule where u must send to the shop u bought from, no more sending direct to ban leong.
*
Crap... my 'england' too cacated liaoz.. i know BanLeong its the distributor.

What i meant, its.. instead of just send straight to the BanLeong, isn't better (faster to get rma'ed) if send email to RazerSupport first, then only send to BanLeong... or thats doesn't make any difference tongue.gif

Btw, those who rma'ed in shops, did the shop ppl ask u to send email to RazerSupport abt it first?.. *just curious*

Sigh, alright let's just forget about the firmware. It is not working for me I couldn't update to the latest one.

Okay back to my previous issue as quoted above. I've snap some photo here. Please share your thoughts. Notice that I've taken from various angel to show the uneven height of the button.
*
No prob with the latest firmware here.

And abt the button, its normal, the button on the front protrude more due easier to reach for yer thumb since its further away.

So u have to adjust yer thumb to rest below the buttons.

i wanna ask about razer tarantula.
seems the keyboard is powered by usb.
but then there is 2 usb hubs.
so i wanna ask, if i connect the 2 usb hubs with other power sucking device such as two external 2.5 inch harddrives, will it be underpowered? is there an external power option?
*
I don't think u wanna plug yer hdd in there, considering its usb1.1 speed.. dam freaking slow, unless u only transfer few kilobytes per-transfer tongue.gif

I don't even plug in my thumbdrives, as its dam freaking slow on my usb1.1 hub, the only thing i use the hub behind the keyboard its my gamepads.. lol... i kinda surprise ppl still use the usb1.1 hub even their rig its usb2.0.. sweat.gif... better get those external usb2.0 with power-adapter.

QUOTE(bluesky87 @ Mar 12 2009, 12:02 PM)
No it's not about the feeling it's the height level of the button. The front button is sunk in by 2mm compared with the back one creating an uneven surface when I place my thumb on it.
Same thing like I mentioned above I mean if I have been using this mouse for a long period then yes the button might protrude but it's a brand new mouse?
*
Oh.. u meant the back button its more protrude than the front button... hmmmmz... im not sure abt that then... better wait for the rest DA users here to reply.

Mako is excellent if u have a small table and insufficient space.... 5.1 speaker systems don't always translate to better sound quality or performance...some high end 2.1 systems can trump 5.1 systems like the mako  whistling.gif  rolleyes.gif  laugh.gif actually, in the end, when u buy any system, as long as u are satisfied with the performance, whether its a 2.1 or 5.1, it doesn't matter...im satisfied with my mako....so no regrets... nod.gif
*
Err... u do know whats 2.1 and 5.1 speakers means rite?.. yes, ur right abt its "don't always translate to better sound quality or performance", but ur missing the point having a surroundsound speakers.

5.1 speakers its meant for surroundsound wherelse as it has 2 rear-speakers, so far i haven't heard any 2.1 speakers trumps the positional sound compared to 5.1 speakers.

And it does matters whether its 2.1 or 5.1, imo ur regret if u get Mako if u already have proper setup for 5.1 speakers.

Imo, if u don't have space for rear-speakers setup for 5.1 speakers, then only its good option to get Mako.

and mako vs 5.1.

to be honest, surround sound in fps? good stereo with good soundcard is enough.
needless to say, most games also with good stereo headphones can get very good positional sound.
pros have been surviving with that setup for how many yrs now?
*
Heh.. i know u will say that, as u didnt noticed how many pros in this Razer thread?.. only u i guess.

Tbh, u can't really compared 2.1 vs 5.1, even tho Mako its "hi-tech" 2.1 speakers, unless u have both speakers systems which its a THX 5.1 speakers and a Mako, and as i stated earlier so far i haven't seen a review saying its better than 5.1 setup.

And definitely don't compared with headphones, thats different department.

*
By default, Winamp support for standard keyboard multimedia keys is not enabled. Follow the instructions below to enable this feature in Winamp.

1. Launch Winamp
2. Select Options->Preferences...
3. Select Global Hotkeys and place a check in the box labeled Enabled
4. Click the Close button

Winamp should now be configured to support standard keyboard multimedia keys.
