Does anybody here uses the Razer Deathadder for the mac?
I find it much slower tracking compared to my Windows PC. All the settings are on Max (accept for acceleration) and it's still freakin' slow. I played around with the Acceleration, but too much and it's practically unusable and too little doesn't do any diff at all.
And it's not the hardware, because if I dual boot back into Windows, it works fine.
Any ideas on how to speed up my mouse?

My only gripe about the mamba, that you can't use the mouse with more than 2 computers without dragging the cradle all over. I use at least 3 PCs (Home PC, Work PC, and my Laptop) and really wish I could interchange between them easily.

Looks like I might have to get 2 Mambas

Microsoft launched to retail the new Sidewinder X8 Bluetrack mouse..... 4000 DPI Wireless AND cheaper at USD 99.

But in terms of sleekness and branding, Razer still has the upper hand in my book

Er, the new X8 Sidewinder Bluetrack mouse can also be wired or wireless as well...... with a snap on plug connector almost like the Mamba....

Yeah, I was tempted to get a Break-a-cuda, mostly because I have the sound card to go along with it...... but after all the reports about the breakage and the fact that I don't use headphones all the time, I decided not to.

My Tarantula is setup for iTunes, Winamp and WMP.... Macros made to switch between the controls and all start up with a press of a button.

I'll be heading down to Singapore on the 10th for the weekend. Will see if the Mamba is out there........ *keeps fingers crossed*

I will be bringing either my Nettop or Laptop, so will update you if I can. You'll have to settle for my crappy TyTn II camera-phone pictures though.........

If not for the stupid big wristpad, I would have loved the Reclusa. I used it briefly in my previous office back when it was first released and the wristpad was the major downer of the whole thing

I'm very disappointed that Razer has released any new add-ons for the Tarantula keyboard. Heck, even if they port the iPod dock from the Pro|Type keyboard, I would be happy........

I dunno...... a docking station add on for the Mamba, and LCD/HUD Screen ala Logitech's G series of keyboards, a cup holder.....
I don't care...... at least something cool.

I'm headed down Singapore this weekend, so will hunt for the elusive Mamba there too

By the time you order the mamba, it'll be available in Malaysia already........
Word on the street is that it'll reach end of the month........... which is technically NOW.

When I was in Singapore, that's what all the stores told me. I asked C-Zone, they also said "end of the month"......

So I guess you should just take that information with a grain of salt.......

I can't stand using standard Dell equipment!!!!!!!!

Luckily I use my Hackinotsh and Deathadder w/ eXactmat for my work.........
