Feeling getting another new mouse over my old G1..

haha. the only issue is that its too good. tongue.gif but its really durable. i do have DA n other mouse for collection. but so far only the intellimouse series is right up there. another thing is that i'm left handed so my choice are kinda limited. you should try getting a mousepad. it'll increase the fun even more.

Calvin thank you thank you notworthy.gif but i'm no pro. hahah.

Roccat is only available in certain parts of Europe... UK included...

Ill be going to UK in may and will be looking for the mouse.. only thing is...according to some UK dude in SLIZone (who has the Kone), there arent many retail stores that sells enthusiast parts. A couple of online stores has it though for around 40-50 pounds.

hopefully i can find it la...already put aside money for the mouse for some time brows.gif

Are you going somewhere near Bolton? Maybe you can try find it at Scan computers. Their retail store is at there. I know they are selling The Roccat Kone online not sure in their retail store though.

Okay. Good luck in your mouse hunt then. Hehe. Another thing, do ask whether you can claim tax rebate or not and how much is the minimum to claim. As they will probably will include tax in their pricing.

hhmmm...seems like everybody still onto roccat kone.....i'm at Uk right now, Nottingham to be exact....I tried finding the kone at PC World nearby my place..but I couldn't find any kones.......the other thing is that I've already done research on the kone especially in uk forums......the shocking thing that i've come across is the fact that the mouse wheel will break as it won't scroll or click(this problem may occur as early as 1-2 months of use)...the forum post is very recent, say jan-feb.....if you wanna know just type in google "roccat kone mouse wheel" then the 1st post already has it....i've post up in this thread before but it seems like not alot of ppl seen it....

Does it happen to majority or just a few defect mice?

yeah i heard about the mouse wheel as well....

its something that really worries me to be honest....but the guy in SLIZone who told me about the UK stores has been using his for months and its been working flawlessly according to him....

so im still pondering on whether or not to get the mouse...

well...from what i see...a few batches got this defect....take note that this mouse is quite new...but then from the forum...they said that roccat wanna put in new scrolls to prevent this prob...but the thing is i don't know which ones are new and which ones are defect....like the batch number or produc...so more research on those must be done b4 buying....also....in Roccat's official website, they did not say anything regarding the defects......

also got a video(youtube) unbox and review on this mouse on roccat sense mouse pad....but then read the description...the fella said that the sensor doesn't work properly on their own mouse pad rclxub.gif

wah bro...hoping it doesn't spoil is a good thing...if it spoils so fast might as well say that the build quality of the mouse not good....but yes...claiming warranty is a big issue....tell you what...if you go onto ebay/amazon/play.com (UK) to search for gaming mices...its cheap if you buy it from there...but then have to put in mind that the warranty will be hard to claim if anything happens to the mouse...i'm worrying about it too as i've found a good price for a microsoft sidewinder mouse on one of the sites...but then its tempting brows.gif

Added on April 2, 2009, 1:03 amguyz......found another "tempting" mouse...its something new(i think) from Gigabyte...the Gigabyte GM-M8000 Ghost gaming mouse(nice name brows.gif ) i have the review from clunk.org.uk down here

GM-M8000
