Na... nonono, i didn't sell off that DK for GTS250 smile.gif

i Just feel SAD that i Should have forge out that ammount to buy that DK card, then GTS250...

ohh.. btw, the pricing i have quoted is viewnet's pricing >.<, Just feel sad that ... Should have get the 9800GTX+ >.<

Let's think of a BRIGHT area, 9800gTX+ is getting obsolute, means Warranty will be a HASSLE, so... ok la... think of this.. then i'll be a little happy >.<

Be wary of the size of this cooler:

Artic Cooling Xtreme Cooler for GTX280 / GTX285
user posted image

I just purchased the entire set of my PC last night.

Thanks to this cooler, I can't use any mid-tower casing except the CM R690 and the Silverstone's Raven.

However, most of the full tower casing will be able to accommodate this cooler thus far I know of.

*I have tried the Silverstone Fortress and this cooler can't even be slot into that casing.

As such, before purchasing this cooler or GPU that comes with it, it is advisable to check the size of your casing.

I've always been aware of that tongue.gif initially I was thinking of selling of my GTX 295 and get a GTX 285 with arctic cooling extreme cooler, but then realized that the cooler extends by about 1" at the back of the card. It was then I dropped that idea of selling...

this is currently how the GTX 295 is sitting in my rig

so it's definitely a NO for anything longer than this. no ACXC or 4850X2

I might get another Geforce GTX285 when the price drop below RM1k with the same cooler.

However, I should be very careful in determining whether can my casing support it.

I wonder whether the Lian-Li PC-007 midtower casing can fit that in it.

Unless the server type motherboard can be fit into that casing, I doubt it can fit.
