any comments on AOC 2434pw monitors.. the 24inch is only 6XX at lowyat.. darn cheap.. its specs are quite impressive...

Just bought the H2333H. Amazed by the color and the glossy screen. This lcd provided better viewing experience than the T220/2233sw/viewsonic va2226. It show no sign of color degradation even compared to crt(at least for me). Strongly adviced your guy to get it if u want budget big screen with hdmi (cable ;p) and around RM600+ price point.

hmm..display price is around RM670+ currently. But i manage to get some special discount at one of the major retailer shop in kota kinabalu. With RM670 i think the comparison still valid for reference purpose.

me too. RM670 in sibu..sabah & sarawak price is more expensive than west malaysia .the supplier tell me need to sell $ here expecially lcd..coz damm heavy..when i pay the money and take it, wah shen..damm heavy..feel like 2-3 laptop man..last time i no idea pick H233 or samsung 2333..in the end i choose H233 coz i feel its better and it got HDMI while samsung dont have..

t240hd or t240?

Bought a Samsung P2350 yesterday. Everything looks nice blah blah.. but I dont feel too confident about the stability of the thing. Just make sure you have a stable/sturdy table cause if you get excited playing games and push your table the monitor might topple over

Before that I looked at Acer H233H as well, retailing for about $640. Anyway, the colour looks much nicer etc cause of the glossy screen, BUT... it's a huge BUT... it's reflective as hell. If your room have any hint of light... you might find the reflections a tad distracting.

Anyone here already own a LED backlight LCD monitor? Any difference you notice with normal CCFL backlighting LCD?

You are right that is is DAMN heavy. My hand felt exhausted just carrying it from outlet to carpark.hehe

P2350 was actually top of my purchase list ranked before H233H after reading some online info and the exterior look. I actually willing to pay more for it knowing that it offer less feature/freebie. However, i think H233H have upper hand for ppl with low budget. The samsung model that matched its with similar connection is 2494Hs but with extra RM200. Reflection can always be counter with good repositioning. The glossy screen made it like a plasma for RM600. hehe..

One weakness so far could be the viewing angle seem restricting. You have to really tested it out to see what is your tolerable limit. When turn on ACM, the white was alsmot blinding.

One weird thing i found out that..my model is H233H Cbmid. not much info on the google except some chinese irrelavant link.

Hmm, I haven't found any for sale so far (in lowyat). But then again I could have missed it. Is it still in production I wonder. Cause just the other day while at the samsung shop in lowyat, the sales person told me the T240 is no longer in production and not available. Wasn't the T240HD out before the T240??? And doesn't the T240HD suffer from input lag?

Sumtimes its just too bright to view internet after gaming.
which a function I miss in my samsung 931bw.
It's a pain to go thru the brightness and contrast again and again.

Currently, the price for dell online is RM759 for S2409W.
And the site state the promotion will end on 4 / June / 09.
So should i buy it now? or wait for next promotion (after 4 June 09)?

I thought T240HD is newer? coz HD version got component connector.. is there any other alternative selection if i looking for 23-24"lcd that have component connector and HDMI?

HDMI cable : Isnt that more or less the same as DIV cables? Both digital? (sorry I kinda didnt research too much into this subject).

H233H : They are using chimei lcd panel?

Anyway, yesterday when I finally installed the the samsung P2350..I noticed a black dot at the bottom left corner of the screen (about 2 inches away from the corner). OMG!!! Dead pixel!!!! Samsung have a 7 days zero dead pixel tolerance policy... hope I can get a replacement from Viewnet.. gonna ask them later.

i'm looking for a new 24" -30" LCD that supports HDMI with gloss screen. Preferably 3-5 years warranty. any recommendation guys?

i'm using Asus PW201 at the moment. the 20.1" screen is holding back the HD display.
