hello...i'm planning to buy LCD Dell S2209W online. i see the price is RM549, but is there any delivery charges? how much is the delivery charges if any? thanks..
*
There wasn't any delivery charges imposed to me when I bought my Dell 2709W. So I don't think there is a delivery charge. Not for LCD (and laptops) at the very least.

I see. So how long normally Dell takes to deliver once an order is placed on their website? Sorry, I'm getting a little impatient with my order here. smile.gif

It takes about a week to 10 days if I remember correctly. I got mine in 5 days though. You will receive a phone call/sms from dell a day prior to arrival telling you.

Dell S2409W got 1:1 pixel mapping?
*
Doesn't that monitor use a 16:9 aspect ratio. I don't think there is much to gain from a 1:1 pixel mapping function. But to answer you're question I believe its a no.

Does anyone know which IPS panel good ?

Looking for high performance / good panel .
*
Is money a matter? HP have 2 IPS LCD Models in the 24" region. The LP2475W and the LP2480ZX. The latter being a 30-bit panel (most screens are only 24-bit) aimed for graphic designers. drool.gif The LP2480ZX is nearly RM10k I think. Else u can always opt for the 30" LCD's which mostly come equipped with IPS screens (i.e Dell 3008WFP, Apple Cinema HD, NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi)

i returned PVA Dell 27' 2709w -
27' using 1920x1200 resolution is just quite weird, and noticable input lag / mouse lag sad.gif  compared to my PVA Dell 2405WFP
*
LOL. I agree about the input lag. Especially since I previously used a 2ms TN screen, the sudden increase in the input lag was very noticible mostly in games. But I have already gotten used to it tongue.gif

Hi, a friend of mine told me I can get help here

I'm looking for a LCD Monitor, preferbly 22" to 24" or maybe bigger.
It will have to fulfill the following requiremtn:
Able to connect to PC(obvious)
Able to connect to PS3/Xbox360 for future use or anything that might come with HDMI(in fact the more the better)
Able to connect to good old PS2(asking too much for it?)

I want to be able to have all these devices plugged in at the same time and able to switch around the display

i.e., PC still connected, but switch to PS2 / PS3.

I've also heard that there's TN panel that's sh*t. I want the best all round performance, flexibility, and of course the colour reproduction, I know LCD can never beat CRT at that, but just want the best.

Hopefully someone can put me on the right path. Thank you for your attention =)

You might wanna try the HP LP2475W which comes with a H-IPS. It has all the connectors you need. Only drawback is that if I remember correctly it cost RM3k +. Else u can opt for the Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP which is equipped with a S-PVA panel. It is significantly cheaper under RM2k iirc. Both have HDMI, DisplayPort, S- Video. Composite, Component etc. so you dont have to worry about connectivity. Just depends on ur budget.

just want to ask samsung T240HD how much now? where to get?
*
Hmm, I haven't found any for sale so far (in lowyat). But then again I could have missed it. Is it still in production I wonder. Cause just the other day while at the samsung shop in lowyat, the sales person told me the T240 is no longer in production and not available. Wasn't the T240HD out before the T240??? And doesn't the T240HD suffer from input lag?

Just wanna ask, does anyone here own a HP W2448HC LCD Monitor. If so could you clarify an issue regarding color representation for me. Is it true that the colors on that screen isnt represented correctly. Im getting conflicting responses.

hey guys wanna ask, wat's the best graphic card for 19" wide (1440x900) LCD?
*
There really isn't such a thing as best graphic card for a monitor lar. More like which card suits the resolution and BUDGET. If u ask me go for a GTS250 or a 4850. That should be enough to handle most games at high settings at that resolution. If u have some extra cash then get a 4870/GTX260.
